32nd Gawad Urian list of nominees

The Filipino Film Critics has released the list of nominees for the 32nd Gawad Urian for excellence in filmmaking.

Once again indie films dominates this year's event and for the Best Picture, the nominees are Brillante "Dante" Mendoza's Serbis, Arnel Mardoquio's Hunghong sa Yuta (Earth's Whisper), Francis Xavier Pasion's Jay, Lav Diaz's Melancholia, Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil's Boses, Sherad Anthony Sanchez' Imburnal, and Richard Somes' Yanggaw.

The 32nd Gawad Urian awards night will be on September 19 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
