Rachel Bilson & Hayden Christensen: "Engagement is off."

No wedding bells for Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen as they have officially ended their engagement and sadly, their relationship!

Bilson's rep tells PEOPLE, "Yes, the engagement is off." One of Bilson's friend added that "It just wasn't working out." and now Bilson is "focusing on her career, spending time with her family and just moving forward."

Christensen and Bilson worked together in the 2008 film "Jumper".

Meanwhile, Rachel will be returning on CBS’ "How I Met Your Mother" sixth season.

Actress Rachel Bilson will be returning on Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) life on CBS’ "How I Met Your Mother".

Rachel will be reprising her role as Cindy and she will appear in the sixth season premiere, airing on September 20.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen, got Engaged?

Rachel Bilson is checking out what's fresh in fashion during Fashion Week in New York City so that she always looks good in the eyes of her soon-to-be husband. PageSix reported that Rachel Bilson got engaged to longtime boyfriend Hayden Christensen over the holiday.
"A Page Six spy spotted Bilson on a Virgin America flight from LA to JFK Monday night with her mom and tells us the actress is engaged to longtime beau Hayden Christensen. "A man sitting in front of her on the plane saw a ring on her finger and asked if she was married," said our snitch, who overheard Bilson reply, "I'm not married yet, just engaged. I know I look like I'm 15, but I'm actually 27."
According to People, a friend of the couple said, "They're so excited," says the pal, adding that no wedding date has been set. "They're a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief.

After the launched in Florida, Rachel Bilson launches her “Edie Rose” clothing line for DKNY jeans at Macy’s Herald Square on Saturday in New York City, Oct. 4.

In other note, the former O.C. star revealed that she ready ready to have a bay right now rather than getting married.

Rachel said, “I don’t need to get married right now. I am more ready for a baby than marriage. Not really tomorrow, but definitely in the next couple of years which is the pretty near future. You have to have the guy, you know?”

The former O.C. star will be busy with her new film, "Waiting for Forever".

The movie is about a young man who’s happy without a job and decides to spend the rest of his life with his love - a 25-year-old TV actress living in Hollywood.

Directing this film is James Keach and writing the screenplay is Steve Adams.

Meanwhile, Rachel talks about her new clothing line Edie Rose (named after her late grandmother) that debuts on DKNY Jeans, “[Even though I can’t sew,] I came with some pictures, a couple pieces of my own clothes and some ideas in my head. It’s simple with one pop of color, which is like me.”

She also gave some thoughts about young people interest in he presidential election. "Thank God! It’s very exciting. I’m really happy that there’s so much heat around this election, because there needs to be. Right now, we need a change. I campaigned for Kerry [four years ago], and I supported Hillary."

“Well, I definitely like that idea. I mean, there’s nothing more empowering than to know that I was alive to see [the possibility of] the first woman president. I think our country needs that femininity, you know? Still, I hope Obama wins.”
