Aside from their romantic getaway in India last year, real life couple Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez  also made their first movie team-up for Star Cinema entitled “Tum: My Pledge of Love”.

Robin expressed his satisfaction with the production of the film, he said: "Mas mapagmamalaki po namin na lahat po yan ay India. Lahat po ng extra namin ay nasa India. Ang mga kasama po namin diyan ay mga Indian actors. At ang mga kalaban natin diyan ay mga Indian stuntmen."

Other cast includes Other cast in this film are Datu Khomeini Bansuan, Queenie Padilla, Nash R. Raza and Ejay Falcon.

Robin Padilla also helmed this action-romance movie.

Bea Alonzo now worried pairing up with Robin Padilla; reveals new series

Controversial ABS-CBN actress Bea Alonzo shared that she's now worried pairing up with action star Robin Padilla in their upcoming primetime series.

Robin Padilla is known for his charm and many women have fallen in love with him easily.

Bea says she's not worried: “Hindi naman. More than iyong takot, .wala talagang takot, mas excited ako! Excited ako to be working with him, with Robin Padilla. ‘Yon pa lang parang prestige na yon ‘di ba? Hindi naman lahat ng kababaihan sa henerasyon namin makakatrabaho siya sa isang soap opera.”

Talking about the new series, Bea reveals that December is the target date of the airing and late November will be their story conference and workshops schedules.

Robin Padilla & Mariel Rodriguez confirms they tied the knot

After facing too much speculations about their relationship, actor Robin Padilla and TV host Mariel Rodriguez finally revealed that they tied the knot during their trip to India last August 19.

Robin said in an interview with Tina Monzon Palma @ ANC’s The World Tonight, “Ako po ay maligayang-maligaya na ibalita sa inyo na isang buwan na kaming kasal ni Mariel Rodriguez. Ang kasal po na 'yan ay nangyari sa India, sa Taj Mahal, August 19 po kami kinasal, at 'yan po ang katotohanan."

Robin shared that it's a Muslim wedding in honor of his religion.

It seems the new couple was forced to admit their marriage after the confusion they made with the so-called “Ibaloi wedding ceremony” and their contradicting statements.

The important thing is that Robin and Mariel are very happy with one another.

"Pilipinas Win na Win" is the new title of ABS-CBN's "Pilipinas For The Win (FTW)"; Robin's love link

Few days after ABS-CBN announced the new noontime show "Pilipinas For The Win (FTW)" which will replace "Wowowee", the network decided to change the show's title to "Pilipinas Win na Win".

The new game and variety show will be headed by Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla. Elevating to the new show are the three "Wowowee" co-host Pokwang, Valerie Concepcion and Mariel Rodriguez.

Aside from the show's format, it will be more interesting and intriguing with Robin's romantic past with Kris Aquino and his new apple of the eye Mariel Rodriguez.

UPDATE: "Pilipinas Win na Win" is the new title of ABS-CBN's "Pilipinas For The Win (FTW)"

ABS-CBN made the right decision of replacing the noontime show "Wowowee" with another new show. Robin Padilla and Kris Aquino will team up for "Pilipinas For The Win (FTW)".

The network managed to keep their principles in ethics in not retaining the old "Wowowee" set up which was stained with controversies despite the show's popularity.

ABS-CBN also reports that Willie Revillame will continue his services via a new program but no details was released.

On Saturday (July 31), ABS-CBN is launching a new noontime show called Pilipinas For The Win (FTW). The new show will be hosted by Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Pokwang, and Kris Aquino. It is a game and variety show that will surely bring joy, energy and hope to Filipinos all over the world.

Pilipinas For The Win will replace Wowowee. Willie Revillame, through his manager, was already informed about this new development. He was also notified about the new program being planned for him and this will be announced in due time.

Pilipinas For The Win will be managed by director Johnny Manahan, creative director Bobot Mortiz, business unit head Jay Montelibano, and executive producers Phoebe Anievas and Rancy Recato. It will be aired after Showtime.

Actor Robin Padilla is always a hot media item and women will love to hear the news that he is now single. BTW, the good news is Robin is single once again!

Robin admitted to a veteran columnist that he and wife Liezl Sicangco are divorced for almost two years and he confirmed that his ex-wife, who is now living in Australia is now happily married.

Robin doesn't want released more details to show respect to Liezl and his family.

actor Robin Padilla promotes automated polls in ARMM

After the successful ARMM mock election test run, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) tapped the services of actor Robin Padilla to promote the new technology (Optical Map Reader, OMR) for the automation polls of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) elections set on August 11.

Robin will still continue this voter's education campaign drive for the 2010 elections. ARMM will be the Philippines' testing ground for the automation of the whole country.

Robin Padilla, a Muslin convert, is reportedly paid 2 million pesos as talent fee which the actor donated to the Liwanag ng Kapayapaan foundation to help the education of 53 less fortunate children.

Even though this is the best idea of a honest election, the President of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is thinking and proposing a postponement of election next month.

Fantasy-action series has now returned to grab the no.1 spot in Philippine primetime TV after the eight month reign of Marian Rivera's Marimar (remake).

It is still a head to head battle for two GMA series, Richard Gutierrez's Kamandag and Robin Padilla's Joaquin Bordado. The venom of Kamandag grabbed the April 1-2 top spot while last April 3 Robin's tattooed action hero steal the no.1 spot.

ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus is consistent at the no.5 spot in primetime programming.

There is no movement in daytime programming, GMA's Eat Bulaga remains the daytime leader followed by Daisy siete.

Robin Padilla's Joaquin Bordado finally enters the 40 percent block in primetime ratings for the first time last Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008. The tattooed action hero is putting Richard Gutierrez‘ Kamandag to the 3rd spot.
