Harry Potter actress Emma Watson is Biggest-Grossing Actress of the 2000s; Samuel Jackson or Orlando Bloom for Highest-Grossing Actor?

Young Harry Potter actress Emma Watson, 19, was named "Biggest-Grossing Actress of the 2000s" by the Guinness Book of World Records. The box office achievement was generated in all six Harry Potter films, which have conjured $5.4 billion worldwide ($900 million per film). Her HP co-star Dame Maggie Smith (Hogwarts Headmistress Minerva McGonagall) came in second place on the list.

Snakes On A Plane
star Samuel L. Jackson took the title of world’s Highest-Grossing Actor but Entertainment Weekly oppose to this claim and pointed out the Orlando Bloom is fit for the title with $6.5 billion in the box office for Lord of the Rings franchise and Pirates of the Caribbean trilogies.

“Iron Man 2″ - first official poster

Checkout the first official poster for Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man 2″ via Yahoo movies.

Cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, John Slattery and Samuel L. Jackson.

Ready to be hit by Iron Man's fire power on May 7, 2010.

Samuel L. Jackson will stay as Nick Fury, longer than you think

After it was reported last month that role of Nick Fury for Samuel L. Jackson is in a limbo, now the good news is that Jackson and Marvel has reportedly closed an agreement that will feature Samuel in nine-picture deal to play the character in a series of Marvel movies.

Nick Fury will be in "Iron Man 2," "Thor," "Captain America," "The Avengers", its forthcoming sequels and possible "S.H.I.E.L.D." movie spinoff.

I said this before, Samuel L. Jackson is the perfect fit for the character, he can definitely do justice to the marvel character.

Is Emily Blunt the next Black Widow in Iron Man 2?

Aside from reported new villains (Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell) in "Iron Man 2", another character is now on the works. Tony Stark’s femme fatale nemesis, The Black Widow.

According to Variety, Marvel Entertainment and director Jon Favreau aere looking for the next Black Widow and “The Devil Wears Prada” star Emily Blunt is now rumored to be the front runner for the role.

Black Widow (real name: Natasha Romanoff), a Soviet superspy who has beauty and the knowledge in high-tech weaponry.

Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson who played Nick Fury is out of the picture.

"Iron Man 2" will begin production in the spring for release by Paramount in summer 2010.

Samuel L. Jackson: "Maybe I won't be Nick Fury"

Another actor or character will be out on the movie sequel of the upcoming "Iron Man".

After they decided to cut Terrence Howard (replace by Don Cheadle) in the movie, Samuel L. Jackson who played Nick Fury at the end of “Iron Man” and previously reported included in "Iron Man 2" is now apparently out and the said negotiations has broken down.
Samuel L. Jackson, clearly bristling, said today that negotiations to put him in the role of Nick Fury have broken down because "there seems to be an economic crisis in the Marvel Comics world."

Jackson told me today that despite his cameo as the hard-bitten military man at the end of "Iron Man," it now appears that "somebody else will be Nick Fury or maybe Nick Fury won't be in it" when it comes to "Iron Man 2," "The First Avenger: Captain America" and "The Avengers," the announced slate of Marvel Studios projects through 2011 that might have a natural spot for the character.

Samuel L. Jackson is the perfect fit for the character, he can definitely do justice to the marvel character.
