Brad Pitt is "quick and focused"

Like his quotes in the latest issue of Wired magazine, Brad Pitt gave a short but funny interview with German magazine BILD back in May in France while promoting Inglourious Basterds.

Here's the interview highlights:

BILD: Is your soul spiritual?
Brad Pitt: “No, no, no! I’m probably 20 per cent atheist and 80 per cent agnostic. I don’t think anyone really knows. You’ll either find out or not when you get there, until then there’s no point thinking about it.

BILD: Are you scared of ageing?
Brad Pitt (smirking): The grey hairs on his beard glisten: “No I like it. I think it’s good.”

BILD: Angelina told me once about your giant bed where all eight of you snuggle up?
Brad Pitt: “Yes we have a 3 metre wide bed, but even that isn’t big enough. They all come crawling in in the morning. It’s just about surviving! We all have sleep deprivation."

BILD: Do you find the time to make love?
Brad Pitt (looks puzzled): What?

BILD: Is it sometimes just the two of you?
Brad Pitt: “Yes we make time for ourselves. It’s very important for every relationship.”

BILD: How? Do you fly off somewhere?
Brad Pitt: “That’s a trade secret!”

BILD: Your answers are very short and quick.
Brad Pitt (beaming): “Ha! I’m a father of six. You have to be quick and focused.”

Brad Pitt on Wired Magazine (August 2009)

The Inglourious Basterds star Brad Pitt gave some funny-interesting tips on cell phone and online etiquette on the latest issue of Wired magazine (August 2009).

Here's some highlights via ET.

On Ashton Kutcher tweeting a picture of wife Demi Moore’s butt: “Don’t take a picture of your wife’s butt. That’s silly. Take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts.”

On lying about the money you make on your online dating profile: “Everyone lies online. In fact, readers expect you to lie. If you don’t, they’ll think you make less than you actually do. So the only way to tell the truth is to lie.”

On talking on the phone while taking a whiz: “No, you can’t talk on the phone! Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation? That’s why you should only text in the bathroom. Just be sure you don’t hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don’t want those followers.”

Columbia Pictures Drops the Ball on Brad Pitt's Moneyball

Columbia Pictures called a timeout for Steven Soderbergh's “Moneyball,” which stars Brad Pitt after Columbia's Amy Pascal decided to put the new project into "limited turnaround" ( free to shop it elsewhere).

Pascal didn't like Steven Soderbergh's final script adaptation of Michael Lewis' book "Moneyball: The Art of Winning An Unfair Game."
Columbia Pictures topper Amy Pascal placed the picture into “limited turnaround,” giving the filmmaker the chance to set it up at another studio, with Warner Bros. and Paramount the prime targets.

The move came after Pascal read a rewrite that Soderbergh did to Steven Zaillian's script and found it very different from the earlier scripts she championed. Pascal was uncomfortable enough with how the vision had changed that she applied the brakes. -Variety
The good thing is, it is not yet a strike out but Columbia will just hope that if they decide to replace Soderbergh, Brad will stay on board.
