Robin Hood chronicles the life of an expert archer, previously interested only in self-preservation, from his service in King Richard’s army against the French. Upon Richard’s death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion, a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest. Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by its appetite for life. Together, they begin preying on the indulgent upper class to correct injustices under the sheriff.

Actor Danny Huston will now feel the power of a King as he will play the role of King Richard in the upcoming "Robin Hood" movie opposite Russell Crowe who plays the legendary vigilante bow and arrow hero.
According to THR, "Huston will step into the shoes of the historical figure King Richard, who became known as Richard the Lionheart because of his exploits in the Third Crusade."
Other cast includes Cate Blanchett, Matthew Macfadyen, Mark Strong, Kevin Durand, Rhys Ifans, William Hurt, Scott Grimes and Eileen Atkins.

The new Robin Hood movie which is directed by Ridley Scott has been given an official release date. The scheduled date is on May 14, 2010. Starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.

Cate Blanchett, the actress who has no usual Hollywood offscreen drama in her life has graces the latest February 2009 cover of Vanity Fair. She expresses that "reverse aging" or plastic surgeries will not be in her list because it be the end her marriage.

On having more babies: “Who knows?” she says breezily. “Don’t close those doors. The world is very overpopulated, but we do make nice ones. They all look like Andrew. To say he has dominant genes would be an understatement.”

Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett’s "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" trailer

The latest trailer for Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett’s new movie, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

David Fincher, the director of this new film described this as dark and romantic. He also added, "it also deals with mortality in a pretty unflattering way. Button is born in 1919 - with the film itself beginning in World War I, traveling around the world and carrying on all the way through to the year 2000.”

The story is about a man who starts aging backwards with bizarre consequences especially when he falls in love with a 30-year-old woman.

Other cast includes Tilda Swinton, Taraji P. Henson, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond.
