LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian Are now Engaged!

After she denies and slammed engagement rumors few months ago, Country singer/actress LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian are now officially engaged to be married! Cibrian popped the question over the weekend.

LeAnn’s rep confirmed the news, “Yes, they were engaged over the holidays and are very happy.” She's wearing a 5-carat oval diamond set in rose gold fleur-de-lis connected to the band

She also tweeted, "Eddie and I got engaged over the holidays. That's the news. It's for real this tine and the first time EVER!"

LeAnn also thanks her fans and the well wishers via twitter:

"Thank you for all your well wishes!! We are extremely excited and look forward to a beautiful future. It's been an incredible last few days, I was shocked!!! We are blessed, our families are so happy and our lives are filled with love." and added, "It was nice to have our little secret for us our families and friend's a few days! So excited to now share the wonderful news with our fans."

Their relationship became controversial when they met and worked together for the movie Northern Lights. Their relationship led to an affair while they were both married to other people. At that time, Rimes is with Dean Sheremet while Eddie Cibrian is with his wife Brandi Glanville and children.

LeAnn and Eddie admits that they feel "no regrets" with the said affair because they fell in love to each other. For that, many still and continues to criticized their relationship.

LeAnn Rimes denies her engagement to Eddie Cibrian!

Most of the time, engagement news is always a positive thing but to singer/actress LeAnn Rimes, it is the other way around. LeAnn is not happy with the recent engagement reports and she slams E News for lack of credible "sources" and providing false report.

To set the record straight, LeAnn Rimes tweeted:

Ok, I've about had it with the lack of "reporting" with E News. The fact that our "engagement" has spread so furiously over the past 24 hours off of an E News article that is 150% untrue just shows you the lack of credible "sources" they seem to find and build a story around. When CNN is calling my publicist off of a lie E News has reported, the media world seriously has a problem with their lack of responsibility to the public to actually report the truth. Even though this is positive "news" its not true. Imagine all the negative "true stories" they've reported over the last year that aren't true either. Gina Serpe and especially, Whitney English reporting for E News should be investigated for their lack of "investigative reporting."Eddie and I are beyond happy and in love and look forward to one day sharing such private news with you all and hopefully will be able to enjoy it privately and share it with our family and friend's before the world knows (contrary to reports on our intentions).

She also joked about the next news about her.

So, nothing has been "exclusively" broken E News except maybe some of your credibility, sorry...I'M PREGNANT TOO!!! LOL Thanks to all of our wonderful fans for the premature congats, but for now, let's all be happy we're happy and still and will remain together! Singer/actress LeAnn Rimes was given different nasty names due to her affair with Eddie Cibrian and now she's telling world that she has "no regrets" of doing it! 

LeAnn opens up with with ABC News' Robin Roberts about the affair, "What happened is not who I am, period but I do know how much I love him. So I've always said I don't live my life with regret. I can't."

Both of them were married: Rimes is with Dean Sheremet while Eddie Cibria is with his wife Brandi Glanville and children.

"It happens every day to so many people," she says. "You had two couples whose marriages didn't work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love."

"Nothing I'm going to say is going to change it," she says. "I do know that, and I have accepted that."

Eddie Cibrian also opens up and explains, "The truth is that we're human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we're human. We fell in love."

"We're talking about something that's over a year, year and-a-half old, really, and we're still together, and we're madly in love..And I think people are finally seeing that, but it doesn't mean that people will accept it or the tabloids will stop trying to print lies and try to tear us apart or tear us down."

Aside from flaunting her bikini body on the cover of Shape magazine’s October 2010 issue, singer/actress LeAnn Rimes also shared that her life is still in an amazing shape!! In her interview, LeAnn talks about why she cheated on ex-husband Dean Sheremet, finding strength in working out and relationship with Eddie Cibrian.

On criticism about leaving Dean Sheremet for Eddie Cibrian.

"My relationship with Dean was great, but ultimately it wasn't a fulfilling marriage for either of us. We got married so young: I was 19 and he was 21, so as we got older, we grew apart. I understand why people are disappointed in me, especially since I grew up as America's sweetheart. I think any relationship is hard to get out of, and I don't think the way I did it was right. I truly believe there are lessons in it for me to learn. Cultivating strength from rough situations is the most important thing. After going through this, I know I can face anything."

On her stressful year with all the media coverage surrounding the divorce.

"Going to the gym and punching out some of my aggression on a pair of mitts has been a lifesaver. Sometimes I felt so depressed I didn't want to get out of bed, so just getting to the gym—even for a few minutes—was a big accomplishment. It really did make me feel better and kind of saved me. It gave me a bit of sanity. Even now, on days when I'm really frustrated, I'll walk into the gym and say to my trainer, "We're doing a boxing workout today. For an hour. I need to hit things."

On working out with Eddie Cibrian.

"We go to the same gym, and sometimes we take group cycling classes together, but when it comes to weight training, we pretty much do our own thing. He's going to kill me for saying this, but when I ask him to work out with me, he always says no. And when I ask why, he says, "Because your boxing workouts are too hard." And he's right: I'm serious about my exercise. I don't just doodle around. I see people at the gym talking on their cell phones. If they think their bodies are really going to change...I mean, you've got to put in the effort!"

LeAnn Rimes quits Twitter due to negative comments

Controversial country star LeAnn Rimes is fed up being slammed by her followers about her relationship with Eddie Cibrian and now she's taking a break from Twitter to focus on her "happiness" and "music".

LeAnn tweeted, “Taking a break from twitter for a while. It’s unhealthy for me and my family to have to read negative comments from people who’s opinions have no bearing on my life. I love my fans so very much and will return one day soon. God bless to you all!"

“I hope you understand. It’s time for me to focus on healing, my happiness and my music. I can’t wait to share it all with my fans soon!"

"There’s a million other ways to stay connected with my fans and I plan to focus on those! The most important, bringing you great music!”

Eddie and LeAnn started the affair on the set of the Lifetime movie “Northern Lights” which destroyed their respective marriage. The two doesn't care what people thinks, for them it's against all odds!

Singer/actress LeAnn Rimes is now legally a free woman and can now continue her whirlwind affair with actor Eddie Cibrian.

According to USmag, "LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet's divorce was finalized Saturday".

Rimes and Sheremet wed in 2002 and they split in 2009 after it was discovered that LeAnn was having an affair with Eddie Cibrian, a married man, who is also her co-star in a Lifetime TV movie “Northern Lights”.

CSI: Miami star Eddie Cibrian revealed the fury of his soon-to-be ex-wife, Brandi Glanville when they had an argument in August. Cibrian' court documents stated that he was "verbally and physically attacked" and Brandi slashed the tires of my Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

After Eddie Cibrian called US Weekly's scoop on his affair with LeAnn Rimes as a "a fabricated story", the said media entity fires back with an exclusive video clip of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian on their March 7 date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California.

US Weekly also claims that they have "seen the $95 receipt for the dinner, as paid for by Cibrian on his credit card and signed by him."
