Katherine Heigl's Adopted Korean Baby Naleigh

Charmingly cute family, couple Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley introduced and released the first photos of their 10-month-old daughter Naleigh, whom they adopted from South Korea.

Katherine and Josh have named their daughter Nancy Leigh and she will go by the nickname Naleigh. She is named after Katherine’s mother Nancy and Katherine's sister Margaret Leigh. Katherine, Josh and Naleigh are together and doing well.

It seems Katherine Heigl want the quickest way to have a baby. She and musician husband Josh Kelley decided to adopt a baby this week.

According to Radaronline, "The baby is from Korea. Her full name is Nayleigh and her nickname will be Leigh. The baby is approximately 10 months old."

Adopting a baby is an idea that she planned couple of years ago. On USA today, she says "I've always planned to adopt anyway, but that definitely reinforced my want to. I'm done with the whole idea of having my own children. (It) doesn't seem like any fun. I don't think it's necessary to go through all of that."

Meanwhile, Heigl got a leave of absence from Grey's Anatomy to film the movie Life As We Know It.

Katherine Heigl: "I'm the foot-in-mouth gal" (InStyle - August 2009)

Katherine Heigl graces the August 2009 issue of InStyle and she openly talks about her personality and career.

On her new romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth" (r rating): "I know this is going to sound bad but I'm really glad [Ugly Truth is rated] R. I didn't want to do another PG-13 movie. [In any real-life contentious relationship with romantic underpinnings] you're probably going to drop the F-bomb once in a while. You're probably going to say some things that are kind of harsh. And you're definitely going to talk about sex. It doesn't have to be so Snow White and Prince Charming."

On being honest and straight forward (especially her Grey’s Anatomy comment): "Now I've got this moniker that I'm the foot-in-mouth gal, and I keep thinking, In what way? Because I said something you don't agree with? Because I said something you don't like? I'm just telling you my opinion. I hate the idea that I can't be honest about how I feel about things because it's going to piss somebody off who feels differently. That seems preposterous to me."


On meeting her husband Josh Kelley: "In my early 20s, I didn't know who I was or what I wanted… I was fed up with trying to be somebody else, and got really lucky and met a great guy [husband Josh Kelley] who loved me for me. I keep telling my friends, seriously, write down what you want and make it specific. Like, I'm talking, do you want a beach house in Venice? Be specific and be creative and define not only what you want in your career but what you want in your personal life.”

On Living Life Despite Tragedy...: "Here's the deal: This is what my family and I have been through [her older brother died in a car accident and her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer], and although we're not perfect, we are survivors… No one in my family ever said, 'Life's not worth living because this happened or that happened to me.' It's always worth living, and living well."

Katherine Heigl is very confident

Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl claims that she is confident woman especially if your talking about her appearance but she felt bad in some of her paparazzi photos.

Heigl said, “I always assume I look better than I actually do. I’ll feel pretty good about myself when I leave the house, then I’ll see a picture and think, ‘C**p, I had no idea that’s what I was looking like.’“

Aside from her image, Katherine claims that maturity gave her more confidence as a woman with opinions.

Heigl said, “I’m not out burning bras, but I’m very opinionated about women owning their power. I look back at my twenties and see that I was much less confident. You repress how you really feel because society tells us what women think isn’t valid, that we’re frivolous and shallow.”

Confidence means sexy but Overconfident is annoying...

T. R. Knight is confirm out of Grey's Anatomy

With two cliffhanger on season five finale of Grey's Anatomy, the fate of T. R. Knight(Dr. George O'Malley) and Katherine Heigl (Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens) is now determined.

Grey's Anatomy co-star Melissa George confirms via US that he's leaving the show, she said, "Yes, he is".

Reportedly, Knight is now eying a the Broadway revival of Lend Me a Tenor in 2010.

For Katherine Heigl, E! reports that one of their source confirms that Katherine Heigl "will be back."

What ever it is, the next season will be definitely exciting!!

Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight Not Leaving Grey's Anatomy, creator says

After is was reported that Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are leaving Grey's Anatomy and was confirmed by co-star James Pickens Jr., the show's creator Shonda Rhimes has denied the rumored news and set the record straight that Knight and Heigl will stay at the said show.

Rhimes said during the 40th NAACP Image Awards, “That was a very interesting rumor. And it’s not true.”

James Pickens Jr. said via USWeekly, "Yes, she is." And he continued, "Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best."

For T.R. Knight's case, " "He's going too. "He just wanted to pursue other career paths."

Both artist previously shows and open about their unhappy feeling on Grey’s Anatomy. Their wish has been granted...Goodbye to George and Izzie.....

And now according to EW that the Grey’s Anatomy writers fires back by saying “The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticizes the show for lack of material?” and added “It’s an ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place.”

"27 Dresses", a romantic comedy from Twentieth Century Fox with an interesting movie poster.
