Jewelry store on Lindsay Lohan: Procedures must be done before they loan out jewelry

Kamofie & Company, the jewelry store that accused Lindsay Lohan of stealing a "high-end necklace", is not the buying Lohan's excuse that the store loaned her the necklace because strict policies and procedures must be done first before receiving a loan jewelry.

Singing a contract claiming responsibility for the item is one of the procedures. Jewelry store owner Sofia tells TMZ,
"When we loan out jewelry, we have a whole procedure that needs to be done. There is paperwork that needs to be filled out and there needs to be insurance information given or credit card information in case something happens with the jewelry."
The store presented to the investigators their surveillance video and photos of Lindsay wearing the said necklace worth $2,500.

The case is now with Los Angeles District Attorney's office and they are still studying on whether or not to formally charge Lindsay Lohan for stealing the item.

Lindsay is still on probation and remains subject to random drug and alcohol testing relating to a 2007 DUI.

Lindsay Lohan Accused of Stealing Jewelry

Lindsay Lohan landed again in a deep hole of controversy as she is now accused of stealing jewelry in Los Angeles and now she's under investigation. Expect jail time for her if she is found in violation of her probation.

The jewelry owner filed the complaint against Lindsay after he saw an Internet photo of Lindsay wearing the jewelry worth $2,500 which he described as "one-of-a-kind necklace".

The police requested a search warrant to search Lindsay’s house for the item but before they could served the warrant, Lindsay's stylist showed up at an LAPD substation and returned the $2,500 necklace. A source tells TMZ that they believe someone told Lindsay about the warrant.

Aside from the photo, the strongest evidence authorities against Lindsay is the surveillance video.

For Lindsay's defense, she claims "it was loaned to her and a stylist simply forgot to return".

Lindsay is still on probation and remains subject to random drug and alcohol testing relating to a 2007 DUI.

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer disappointed with Palm Desert police

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley expressed her disappointment to the Palm Desert police department after they released a statement announcing that her client violated her probation in connection to her December 12 altercation with the Betty Ford employee. 
Shawn Chapman Holley told People in a statement, "The important, yet limited, investigatory role of the police to gather facts and collect evidence is well-established."
"The fact that the Palm Desert Police Department went outside this limited role to issue a press statement expressing its opinion about what should happen in Ms. Lohan's case is highly unusual and deeply troubling."
Until now, no formal battery complaint was submitted to the court. Also, the ex-Betty Ford employee who accused Linday has decided to drop the criminal battery charges against her.

Lohan is due back in court on February 25 for a progress review hearing.

Story about Lindsay Lohan in "Dogs in Pocketbooks"?! Lohan's camp considering legal action

Lindsay Lohan's colorful-controversial life has been the subjects of punch lines and other comedy works like the upcoming comedy movie "Dogs in Pocketbooks".

Lydia Hearst Shaw has landed her biggest break in which screenwriter Charles Casillo told the New York Post that "Lydia will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media -- a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan."

But the movie is now fueling objection from Lohan's camp. According to TMZ, Lindsay’s family is considering taking legal action since the film is “using her likeness without her being compensated” and add, "Not only that but they are advertising the fact that they are using her likeness."

With legal action is now being considered, Dogs in Pocketbooks' screenwriter Charles Casillo is now saying that movie is not about Lindsay Lohan. Explaining that "[The movie] is in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay." The movie is "a satire about the crazy people around her and the situations they generate."

Just thinking of it, tt will very interesting and intriguing on how they will deliver the story.

ex-Betty Ford Worker Drops Assault Charges Against Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan will now celebrate Christmas without worries over the recent assault incident after the ex-Betty Ford employee has decided to drop the criminal battery charges against her.

Dawn Holland, who was fired by Betty Ford officials for violating confidentiality guidelines will not anymore pursue any criminal complaint.
Holland's lawyer, Keith Davidson, tells TMZ, "Dawn will not continue to press charges against Lindsay, nor will she be assisting any further in the investigation or prosecution" and added "A crime has quite simply not been committed by Ms. Lohan."
Last Dec 12, Holland claimed that Lindsay Lohan assaulted her causing a severe sprain to her arm.

Davidson says Holland and Lohan shared a similar struggles. They're both recovering addicts. Holland does not want put Lindsay's probation in jeopardy.

Lindsay Lohan's Accuser also has a record of violent behavior;

The former Betty Ford Center employee who claims Lindsay Lohan assaulted her causing a severe sprain also has  a history of violent behavior and was described as an 'opportunistic golddigger'!

An insider told radaronline, "It sounds like Dawn is up to her old tricks. I think she's a golddigger. She's an opportunist. Now, it's with somebody who's got money. I don't trust her."

Dawn Holland, who has filed a criminal battery complaint against Lindsay, was involved in a nasty divorce battle. Her ex-husband Timothy claimed that Dawn Holland hit him after he was accused of cheating.

TMZ also reports that in another incident in 2008, Dawn's husband claims she "lost control, broke up a lot of my personal property and attacked me, kicking me in the leg and causing a contusion."

Dawn also accused her husband of physical violence.

Dawn Holland revealed that TMZ paid her at least $10,000 for the story with series of photographs showing the injuries. She was fired by by Betty Ford officials after talking to media outlet, violating the patient confidentiality guidelines.

Holland will be facing criminal investigation for violating HIPAA.

Rehab employee speaks out about Lindsay Lohan incident; She was also Fired

The Betty Ford Center employee is speaking out about the assault incident  with Lindsay Lohan and she also revealed that she was fired by Betty Ford officials after talking to media outlet.

Chemical technician Dawn Holland says that Lohan and two other went out drinking and they returned ten minutes after their curfew on December 12. Security caught them "trying to jump over the back wall" to the clinic house. Holland will be doing breathalyzer test on the 3 women, but Lindsay refused and then pushed her.

During the heated exchange, Holland claimed that Lindsay "was angry and out of control". Holland says she picked up a phone to call 911 but Lindsay tried to snatch the phone from out of her arm which allegedly twisted her arm, causing a severe sprain.

The incident is under investigation and the staffer expressed her desire to prosecute Lindsay for criminal battery. Lindsay is still under probation from her DUI arrest back in 2007, she's facing six months jail time.

Lindsay Lohan facing Criminal Battery charges at Betty Ford

Controversial actress Lindsay Lohan was involved in a physical altercation with a female staffer from Betty Ford Clinic after she and her roommates returned from a bar ten minutes after their curfew on December 12.

“Hand-to-hand battery” accusations is now being investigated and the staffer expressed her desire to prosecute Lindsay for criminal battery.

Lindsay claims that the female staff member was "unfairly" scolding her and demanded the actress take a drug/alcohol test. During their arguments the said staffer "put her hands on Lindsay". The 24 year-old actress claims she told the woman, "Take your hands off of me" and then "pushed back."

Linday is now facing six months in jail for this incident because she is still on probation from her DUI arrest back in 2007.

Inferno's Matthew Wilder on replacing Lindsay Lohan: "I feel like 16 tons of weight are off my mind"

Director Matthew Wilder felt reborn after he decided to replaced Lindsay Lohan and  hiring  the services of actress Malin Akerman to play as porn star Linda Lovelace in the biopic Inferno.

Wilder tells radaronline, “I feel like 16 tons of weight are off my mind not having to deal with the Lindsay Lohan situation. We have not heard anything from Lindsay and her camp recently but we wish her and them well. I still think she has great talent and if she respects those gifts then she will go on to show people what she is capable of doing.”

Talking about Malin Akerman, the Inferno said, “I love working with her, she is sensitive and hard-working and I think it’s a great decision for our project."

No more delays but Wilder must also thanked Lindsay for her controversial situation. It created a buzz about the forthcoming movie. .. Production will start shooting in February 2011.

Lindsay Lohan leaving Rehab for Thanksgiving!

Lindsay Lohan is surely rejoicing for her temporary freedom as she received a 15-hour day pass to leave the Betty Ford Clinic for Thanksgiving! The 24 year-old actress will remain in a court-mandated rehab facility until January 3,

Lindsay reportedly will spend Thanksgiving with her estranged father Michael Lohan and friends.

In other news, Lindsay Lohan is no longer attached to play Linda Lovelace after she has been dropped from the biopic film "Inferno". Actress Malin Akerman will be replacing her.

Malin Akerman Replacing Lindsay Lohan In ‘Inferno’

After announcing that Lindsay Lohan will no longer be included in the biopic "Inferno", Director Matthew Wilder has announced Malin Akerman as the new replacement and will be playing as porn star Linda Lovelace

"We are casting Malin Akerman for the role of Linda Lovelace," director Matthew Wilder tells E!, "We are currently in negotiations and working out the legalities of bringing her on board."
Wilder decided to let Lindsay Lohan go as she is currently in rehab at the Betty Ford Center in California and reportedly, Lindsay quit the project and was not axed! Lindsay decided to drop out so that she could focus more on her recovery.

Lindsay Lohan Dropped From Linda Lovelace's biopic Inferno.

Lindsay Lohan is no longer attached to play Linda Lovelace after she has been dropped from the biopic film "Inferno". 

Director Matthew Wilder tells E!, "We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan. We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her—and some other issues—have made it impossible for us to go forward."
Still no actress popped up to replace Lindsay Lohan.
"We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard."
Lindsay is currently in rehab at the Betty Ford Center in California and sources says that she quit the project and was not axed! Lindsay decided to drop out so that she could focus more on her recovery.

Working too much will not be beneficial to her and she must first dedicated herself to recovery.

Controversial actress Lindsay Lohan can still continue her work despite her required treatment at Betty Ford Clinic. She was allowed to a one-day photo shoot (November 14) for Kira Plastinina, a Russian-based clothing line.

Retuning to work means paycheck. We all know that her stint at Betty Ford is not free.

Lindsay Lohan Ordered To Stay In Rehab, No Jail time

Actress Lindsay Lohan can snow smile as she avoided jail time and was simply ordered back to rehab until January 3, 2011. The DA failed to get the six months jail sentence.

The judge feels that Lindsay needs rehab becaue she's a drug addict, ordering her to be in rehab past New Year. The judge told Lindsay, “You are an addict. I hope you understand that.” When Lindsay nodded her head, he added, “I don’t want another train wreck.”

LiLo will back in court on February 25 and she must stay clean before that date so that her sentence will be converted to unsupervised probation.

Actress Lindsay Lohan admits that she's has a problem with substance addiction and slowly she's trying to clean her act. She entered rehab for the fifth time!

According to TMZ, Lindsay entered a live-in drug treatment facility in Southern California and she plan to stay there until her next court hearing.
The "Mean Girls" actress remains free after she posted $300,000 bail. violated the terms of her probation by failing the court-ordered drug test and she was tested positive for cocaine and amphetamines.

Lindsay Lohan wants to Return to Rehab?!

Calling her "Substance abuse" as a disease, actress Lindsay Lohan admits that she's has a problem and going back to rehab is the best solution to her problem.
A source tells People that the 24-year-old actress plans to voluntarily check herself back into rehab, "She will step up her treatment and do more than what she was previously ordered to do."
Judge Elden Fox sent actress Lindsay Lohan back in jail without bail after violating the terms of her probation but the bail decision was reversed by Judge Patricia Schnegg. For now, Lindsay Lohan is a free woman after she posted $300,000 bail.

Lohan has been ordered again to wear a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet and she also must stay away from places that primarily sell alcohol.

Lohan's next probation violation hearing on October 22.

Lindsay Lohan granted bail for $300,000; Free Again!

Luck is still in the hands of actress Lindsay Lohan! After Judge Elden Fox sent her back to jail without bail due to probation vaiolation, Lindsay has been granted bail by another judge and her bail was set to $300,000.

Judge Patricia Schnegg reversed Judge Fox's bail decision and approved the writ of habeas corpus filed by Lindsay Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley. The controversial actress must follow new directive from the court.
Lohan will be required to report back to authorities within 24 hours to be fitted for yet another SCRAM bracelet to ensure that she stays off the sauce for the next month.

She is also not allowed to possess any drugs or socialize with any known drug users, and she must be willing to submit to a law-enforcement search at any time, "with or without a warrant, probably cause or reasonable suspicion."
Lohan's  next probation violation hearing on October 22.

Lindsay must mellow down...No more extra curricular activities and no more nightlife.

The moment of truth! Judge Elden Fox sent actress Lindsay Lohan back in jail and bail was denied for violating the terms of her probation. Lindsay will remain jailed until the next Oct. 22 hearing.

 Lindsay  was reportedly shocked when the judge delivered the ruling and she  was taken out of the courtroom in handcuffs. BTW, no cameras have been allowed in the courtroom.

No Cameras In Lindsay Lohan’s Court Hearing

No television camera inside the courtroom ordered by Judge Elden Fox in Lindsay Lohan’s court hearing.

Judge Elden Fox, who cut down Lindsay’s 90-day rehab stay is now denying the media requests to allow cameras in the courtroom during Friday’s hearing. Any Lindsay's unexpected reaction when the ruling is handed down will not be caught on tape.

The "Mean Girls" actress is now facing jail time after she violates the terms of her probation. Lohan failed her court-ordered drug test and she was tested positive for cocaine and amphetamines.
Pat Kelly, spokesperson for Los Angeles Superior Court, told RadarOnline. "It's my understanding that Judge Fox has denied cameras in the courtroom for Ms. Lohan's hearing tomorrow."
She accepted her mistake of violating the terms of her probation and and she's taking responsibility for her action.

The judge is preventing the climax of the event!!!
