Katy Perry “How I Met Your Mother” Guest Appearance
Grammy-nominated pop star Katy Perry has a guest gig in the upcoming episode of CBS' hit comedy "How I Met Your Mother."
Perry will play the naive, beautiful cousin of Zoey (Jennifer Morrison).
Still no info about the airing date of the said episode.

"The Smurfs" Another teaser Poster
It seems the cute blue creatures will be popping up in the busy city in their latest teaser poster for the upcoming live-action/CGI animated "Tne Smurfs" movie.
When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
Starring Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, Sofía Vergara, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, Anton Yelchin, Alan Cumming, B.J. Novak, Paul Reubens, Tim Gunn, George Lopez, Jonathan Winters, Fred Armisen, Kenan Thompson, John Oliver, Adam Wylie, Jeff Foxworthy and Wolfgang Puck.
Directed by Raja Gosnell and it will the theaters on August 3, 2011.

Neil Patrick Harris Welcomes Twins!
Neil Patrick Harris is now facing the responsibility of fatherhood!
The "How I Met Your Mother" announced via twitter that he and his longtime partner, David Burtka, welcomed their baby twins: boy and a girl, on Oct. 12.
Neil tweeted, "Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey."
The announced last August that they are expecting their twins. The babies reportedly was carried withthe help of a surrogate.

Nicole Scherzinger appearing in "How I Met Your Mother"
Nicole Scherzinger will add small pieces of details on Robin Sparkles' life and her old music career in the upcoming episode of "How I Met Your Mother"
The 32 year-old Pussycat Doll member will play Jessica Glitter, former best friend of Robin Sparkles (Cobie Smulders).
Executive producer Craig Thomas tells EW, “It’s going to be a satisfying third chapter in the Robin Sparkles trilogy. It’s a prequel to both ‘Let’s Go to the Mall‘ and ‘Sandcastles in the Sand.’”
This episode will air on November.

Neil Patrick Harris is expecting Twins!
Actor Neil Patrick Harris is now a future dad as he now expecting twins!
Neil Patrick confirmed the baby news via his Twitter, "So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy..."
The 37 year-old actor and his partner of six years, David Burtka, are expecting their twins in October via a surrogate.
Neil Patrick Harris is popularly known for his role as of the series the funny-confident womanizer Barney Stinson in the hit series "How I Met Your Mother".

Nicole Scherzinger playing Maureen in Hollywood Bowl RENT

Dancing With The Stars winner Nicole Scherzinger will be joining thw upcoming stage production of Tony-winning musical "Rent" at the Hollywood Bowl on August 6-8.
The 31 year-old Pussycat Dolls lead singer will be playing the role of Maureen and joining her are Vanessa Hudgens, playing exotic dancer Mimi Márquez and Wayne Brady. Making his directorial debut is Neil Patrick Harris.
Neil Patrick Harris said, "Nicole had a wonderful audition - she was well prepared, sang beautifully, and had us all laughing. If only she was somewhat attractive and didn't have two left feet... I'm very excited to have finally finished the casting process, and look forward to rolling up my sleeves and start rehearsing."
Other cast includes Aaron Tveit, Skylar Astin, Telly Leung, Collins Pennie, Gwen Stewart, Tracie Thoms and many more....

Anne Hathaway and Neil Patrick Harris will lend their voices for "Rio"
Anne Hathaway and Neil Patrick Harris are in the negotiating tables to lend their services as voices in the new animated film "Rio". Rodrigo Santoro also thinking to hop in.

"Rio," the next collaboration between Blue Sky Studios, Fox Animation and director Carlos Saldanha, all of whom are riding the $882 million global tsunami of "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs."It will be great casting choice especially using the expressive voice of Neil Patrick Harris.
"Rio," which follows the adventures of a nerdy macaw who lights out from his small-town Minnesota cage for the exotic Summer Olympic city of Rio de Janeiro, is scheduled for an April 8, 2011, release. Like "Dinosaurs," it will be filmed in 3D digital animation. -THR

Neil Patrick Harris will surely deliver some funny comments as he is now being tapped as guest judge in American Idol.
FOX has confirmed that the How I Met Your Mother star joined Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, and Randy Jackson on day two of Idol auditions in Dallas, TX this afternoon.
As I have said it before, Paula's departure is a blessing in disguise. Fans are now anticipating and now intrigue to the list of celebrity guest judge that will join the panel.
Other guest judge: Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain, Joe Jonas, Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson.

After the Tonys, another hosting job was given to Neil Patrick Harris. The "How I Met Your Mother" star will be the master of ceremonies in the 61st Annual Emmy Awards.
In a statement, he said, “After having had such a hoot hosting the Tonys, I was thrilled to get the call about the Primetime Emmys. I’m looking forward to the challenge of the show — adding my own voice to it, while honoring the nominees and the entire year in television. But which voice to choose? I’m torn between gangsta, foppish Brit, and robot. Really proud of my robot. We’ll see what happens on the night.”
The Emmys will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles via CBS on Sept. 20.
