"Ang Tanging Ina, Last Na ‘To" takes day 4; “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote” still no.1 over all
Star Cinema's "Ang Tanging Ina, Last Na ‘To" delivered good gross result in Day 4 (December 28) of the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Ai Ai delas Alas' movie overtakes fantasy action-comedy movie “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote”, taking the Day 4 top spot with Php 13.6 million while the team up of Bossing Vic and Senator Bong raked in another Php 12 million.
Despite the slight declined of the gross result “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote”, it remains at he no.1 spot in total gross.

The standings for the second day (December 26, 2010) of the eight movie entries for 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival’s (MMFF) remains and still leading the pack is the fantasy action-comedy movie “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote” starring the two kings of MMFF, Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto with P27 million, totaling to P58 million. Star Cinema's "Ang Tanging Ina, Last Na ‘To" raked in P18 million, totaling to P38 million.

“Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote” tops 2010 MMFF Day 1; “Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na 'To)” in second
The movie entries for 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival’s (MMFF) delivered good opening box-office numbers soaring to P80 million surpassing last year’s earnings of P70 million.
The powerhouse combination of Senator Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto via the fantasy action-comedy movie “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote” tops day 1 (December 25) of MMFF with P31 million. Star Cinema's “Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na 'To)” starring Ai-Ai de las Alas came in second with P20 million. Kris Aquino's horror flick "Dalaw" ranked third with P12.5 million.

Checkout the promotional photos of GMA-7's newest actress Gwen Zamora as the pretty fairy Faye (the enchanting wife of Enteng) in the action-fantasy-comedy flick "Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote" topbilled by the certified box-office kings Bong Revilla Jr. and Vic Sotto.
Excited on her silver screen debut, Gwen shared, “Super touched kasi ako na I got the role. Hindi ko akalain na yung first movie ko would be this big. Kaya super thankful talaga ako at saka my prayers talaga were answered. Kasi I’ve been working so hard for a year doing auditions, and now that I’m getting a break, parang.. wow! Siguro it’s overwhelming, that’s all I can say.”
The other leading lady is Sam Pinto as Samara [Photos], a warrior who is looking for Agimat to save their world.

Amy Perez as the new Ina Magenta in "Agimat Ni Enteng"
"Face To Face" host Amy Perez revealed in her TV5 news interview that she's the new Ina Magenta, (fairy mother of Faye) in the highly-anticipated sure hit comedy "Agimat Ni Enteng" starring Vic Sotto and Sen. Bong Revilla (two kings of MMFF).
This upcoming fantasy film is an entry to the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival and it is being produced by M-Zet, GMA Films, Octo Arts Films, Imus Productions and APT Productions.
The original Ina Magenta is played by the late Charito Solis and then Alice Dixson for the second Enteng Kabisote movie. The lovely Giselle Tongi was tapped for the role in the third installment.
Ina Magenta is the mother of Faye who always intrudes in the life of the couple. Enteng sees her as the main antagonist of his life, always reminding him how low she thinks of him being a mortal. Despite Ina Magenta and Enteng's love-hate relationship, Ina honors the fact that Enteng loves her daughter very much and all her insults are a mere part of her daily routine.

Ramon “Bong" Revilla Jr. remains a Kapuso, signs contract with GMA Network
Actor/Senator Ramon “Bong" Revilla Jr. is still a Kapuso as he ended speculations that he will leave the network and transfer to ABS-CBN. Senator Bong sealed the deal by signing an exclusive contract with GMA Network on Monday (October 18).
GMA President Atty. Felipe L. Gozon praised the loyalty of the veteran actor, "Ang katangian ni Sen Bong na nagdadala sa kanya hindi lamang bilang artista sa pelikula at telebisyon kundi sa pulitika, eh yung kanyang being stable and loyal."
Also present in the contract signing event are Sen. Bong Revilla’s manager Lolit Solis, GMA Network chairman, president and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, and Senior Vice President for Entertainment Wilma V. Galvante.

MMFF Selection Committee has released the eight entries for the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival which was revealed at Club Filipino in Greenhills (June 29).
The 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines starts from the 25th of December to the first week of January, focuses on locally-produced films.

Best Picture winner "Ang Panday" which leads the first day ranking still ends supreme as it raked in a total of P99.4 million. Star Cinema's "I Love You, Goodbye" which started at the fourth spot jumped to the second spot with P94.3 million and the third place falls to Vic Sotto's "Ang Darling Kong Aswang" with 89.6 million.
Expected, major flop on Manny Pacquiao's movie "Wapakman". Reality is, you can't win it all. Many salute him as a boxer but an actor, many doubted.
