Sharon Stone in Law & Order: SVU‎ (four-episode)

Boosting more excitement on the upcoming "Law & Order: SVU (Special Victims Unit)" episode is award-winning actress Sharon Stone. She signed for or a four-episode arc beginning in April.
“It is obviously a thrill and a delight to have a star of Sharon’s wattage and importance joining SVU,” raves SVU boss Dick Wolf.
The 51-year-old actress will be playing a former cop-turned-prosecutor.

Stone won an Emmy Award for her guest actress appearance in the TV legal drama "The Practice" in 2004 and a Golden Globe for her work in the 1995 movie "Casino".

Sharon Stone lost custody of her son

The court feels that Sharon Stone is not ideal to get the custody of her 8-year-old son, Roan. Her custody request was denied by San Francisco court.

Sharon's ex-husband Phil Bronstein has received the "permanent sole physical custody" of their son.

"The court does not find that (a) move away is in child's best interest. Court finds that (Bronstein) can provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure, and consistent home that child, Roan, needs. (Bronstein) shall have permanent sole physical custody of child."

Stone, however, "shall have access to child," the minutes say, and her phone number "shall be programmed into the child's telephone and home phone."

China is banning artist that "threaten national sovereignty."

The Chinese government is on red alert on foreign artists and performers that will engaged in activities deemed to "threaten national sovereignty."

China's Ministry of Culture’s website issued a statement that they will ban any performance that might threaten national unity, stir ethnic hatred or violate Beijing's strict policy on state-approved religions and "cultural norms."

Heavy government critics like Sharon Stone and Steven Spielberg are surely included in the said ban.

Another artist is Bjork and her performance incident last March in which she yelled, "Tibet, Tibet, Tibet" after performing her song "Declare Independence".

The said ban will be one of their security measure against threats from unruly crowds and potential protesters.

Sharon Stone dropped by Christian Dior and her apology statement

This is what we called Quick Karma! French fashion firm Christian Dior has dropped/axed/kick Sharon Stone from its Chinese advertisements. The veteran actress has released a statement apologizing for her remarks against the Chinese people about the Karma issue.

Christian Dior China released the following statement:
"Due to some customer reaction we have decided to pull her image from all of the department stores and from all of China. We just want our customers and fans to realize that her personal comments are not related to the company and of course we don't support any type of commentary that will hurt the feelings of our customers."

Sharon in a released statement:
“Due to my inappropriate words and acts during the interview, I feel deeply sorry and sad about hurting Chinese people. I am willing to take part in the relief work of China’s earthquake, and wholly devote myself to helping affected Chinese people.”
