Singer BoA released another single which is a ballad title “Stand by me” from her upcoming 6th comeback Korean album "Hurricane Venus" which is due out on August. [Listen Below]

Original Korean title of the new single is "Yeop Saram (옆사람)". Some translate it as "The Person Next To Me" and other site says “Stand by me”. Hmmm...Not sure about the translation.

The music video was filmed by Joseph Kahn in January 2009 at Ren-Mar Studios in Hollywood. It combines themes of "water", "mystic", "black" and uses a fan at the end part for oriental feel of the MV.

On October 21, 2008, it will be available in on iTunes, Amazon, AOL, Emusic and My Space. Alsoit will be be distributed as a ringtone through AT&T and T-Mobile mobile service.

On October 22, 2008, will be release on Melon, Dosirak, Cyworld in Korea, Japan's iTunes Store, mora, mu-mo, dwango.jp, Thailand's Sanook Online & Click Internet and China's sina.com & China mobile.

Anycall, is a brand of Samsung Mobile phones and was established in 1993.

The four have founded a project group named "Anyband" and they will have a concert in Seoul on November 27th, 2007.

BoA to Receive Contemporary Artist Award

Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently selected and announced the recipient for the 2007 Young Contemporary Artist Award.

Pop Singer BoA will be awarded Young Contemporary Artist Award. This award goes out to artists in their 20s and 30s, is being recognized by the government for her accomplishments in both South Korea and Japan.
