PETA on Lady Gaga wearing Meat Dress to VMAs

Aside from winning eight Moonmen, Lady GaGa is the most buzz about in terms of her full raw meat “costume” at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (September 12). PETA is definitely not laughing!

PETA president Ingrid E. Newkirk writes, "Lately, Lady Gaga has been having a hard time keeping her act 'over the top. Wearing a dress made out cuts of dead cows is offensive enough to bring comment, but someone should whisper in her ear that there are more people who are upset by butchery than who are impressed by it."

Newkirk adds, "Meat is the decomposing flesh of a tormented animal who didn't want to die, and after a few hours under the TV lights, it would smell like the rotting flesh it is and likely be crawling in maggots -- not too attractive, really."

It is not the first time Lady Gaga wore a raw meat outfit, she also did it on the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan Magazine.

Talking about the wide-variety of art but it is simply not appropriate in this kind of event.

Beyonce is simply wonderful and a great model for young artist.

Kanye West tantrums interrupts Taylor Swift - 2009 MTV VMAs

Rapper Kanye West on his out of this world tantrum went to stage and annoyingly interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video for the song “You Belong With Me”. Kanye claims that Beyonce is the rightful one to deserved the award with her single "Single Ladies".
Kanye said, “I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of th best videos of all time!!”
Damn! A very disrespectful attitude, Kanye want to traumatize a young teen singer like Swift. MTV should have thrown Kanye out of the event.

Russell Brand to Host again the MTV VMAs

It seems MTV loves Russell Brand's zany-hosting performance in last year's VMA that's why the British comedian is being tapped again to host the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards which will take place at NYC’s Madison Square Garden in the 13th of September.

A source tells The Sun, “He is over the moon. It’s the first time ever that the same host has been used for two consecutive years, which means a lot to him. He has had to promise not to offend the Jonas Brothers again though.”

MTV's General Manager Stephen Friedman told Usmagazine, "We are thrilled that despite numerous death threats from Jonas Brothers fans, Russell Brand has accepted our offer to put his life on the line and host the VMAs again this year".

His style of delivery in mocking her fellow celebrities is the reason why MTV wants him back!
