Rain & U-Kiss for Intensity in the Philippines

Smart and TV5 are teaming up to deliver a special event titled Intensity featuring Korean star Rain and U-Kiss, including special guest Christian Bautista.

The event will be held at the SM Mall of Asia on September 11th.

Rain sued for $ 30 million

Rain is one of the top star in Korea but with his shaky start in trying out the US market, his singing talent is being over-shadowed with lawsuits.

According to TMZ, Rain, and a host of people in his camp, are being sued for bailing on a 2007 concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. According to a lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Andrew Kim had the rights to the proposed concert -- but he took a huge financial hit when Rain bailed.

Rain was also sued in 2007 for missing a gig in Hawaii, allegedly over trademark and technical issues.

Kim is suing Rain and his camp $30,000,000.

Sequel on the way for Full House?

The successful 2004 Korean hit series "Full House" has a sequel on the way. Rumors has it that there has been 20 episode has been written. It is to be expected to air in August 2009.

Asian film poster for "Speed Racer"

Another new Wachowski Brothers’ “Speed Racer” poster is been released. The poster features Emile Hirsch as Speed and Korean pop star and actor Rain played the character of Taejo Togokhan.

PETA Slapped Korean artist Rain

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Asia Pacific (PETA) criticized Korean artist Rain. They described the artist as a "Caveman" for wearing fur.

In a statement PETA said, "You have said that you want to show American women 'how sweet and loving Asian men are'. Correct us if we're wrong, but wearing fur is anything but 'sweet' and there is no 'loving' way to rip the skin off a still-twitching animal,"

"And although you have likened yourself to 'SexyBack' singer Justin Timberlake, you are anything but sexy for wearing the fur of tortured animals on your back."

Naomi Campbell must date Rain coz' they both like fur.

PETA said millions of animals are killed for their fur by electrocution on farms or in the wild by drowning, trapping or beating.
