Actor John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston are very happy to introduced their new bundle from heaven, Benjamin Travolta, on the cover of People Magazine latest issue!

Born November 23, Benjamin is being described as a "miracle" after trying to get pregnant for more than three years. The 56 year-old actor said, "He's given the house a renewed spirit and purpose."

This is the couple’s third child. Their first son Jett, died of a seizure in January 2009 while the family were on vacation in the Bahamas. Baby Benjamin will now join her big sister 10-year-old, Ella Bleu.

John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston welcomed their new blessing, baby boy Benjamin. Kelly gave birth at a Florida Hospital on Tuesday (November 23) and the new born weighed in 8lbs. 3oz. 

“John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family,” they say in a statement. “Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.”

This is the couple’s third child. Their first son Jett, died of a seizure in January 2009 while the family were on vacation in the Bahamas. Baby Benjamin will now join her big sister 10-year-old, Ella Bleu.

Kelly Preston is not in labor

It is just a false alarm for Kelly Preston. Reports popped up about John Travolta cutting his promotional trip to Australia because his wife has reportedly gone into labor but Travolta's rep says, "This story is 100 percent false".

The rep. tells PEOPLE, "She's not in labor. John is in route back to the U.S. as was always the plan for him to return this weekend."

The couple’s upcoming baby boy, to be named Benjamin, is due to arrive later this month.

John Travolta Drops Extortion Charges

Actor John Travolta doesn't want to continue the extortion case against Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater so he and his family decided to drop the charges against the extortion suspects.

John and his wife Kelly Preston are facing "heavy emotional toll" involving the tragic death of their son Jett especially going back to the Bahamas for the second trial. The case was called a mistrial in October of 2009.

Travolta said in a statement, "I am grateful and appreciative of the dedication, hard work and support provided by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Royal Bahamas Police Force while handling matters associated with the attempted extortion that targeted my family in January of 2009."

"Throughout the investigation and prosecution, my staff and I remained fully supportive of all requests for assistance from law enforcement representatives even though this cooperation was at a great emotional cost to my family," he said.

"Unfortunately, in early October of last year the first trial of this matter resulted in a mistrial. Almost a year later, the long pending status of this matter continued to take a heavy emotional toll on my family causing us to conclude that it was finally time to put this matter behind us," Travolta explained. "Therefore, after much reflection I concluded that it was in my family’s best interest for me not to voluntarily return to The Bahamas to testify a second time at trial. We are thankful to the people of The Bahamas for the friendship, love and support they provided to us during this matter."

Travolta family made their first public appearance at D23

After the untimely death of their son Jett while on vacation in the Bahamas last January, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston with their daughter Ella Bleu finally made their first public appearance together to promote their new Disney film "Old Dogs" during Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif.

Travolta told the crowd, "I always appreciate the audience's love for me." He continued, "I hope they love Old Dogs and much as we do, because I've got my baby in it."

"Old Dogs" also stars Robin Williams and set for release in November. D23 Expo is Disney’s answer to the annual Comic-Con gathering in San Diego.

John Travolta's extortion plot suspect say his innocent and noble

Former Bahamian Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe, the so-called close friend of the Travolta family and the suspect of the alleged extortion plot to John Travolta gave an interview via usmag, denying his involvement and saying his innocent.

Obie said that the only thing that he has done is to help the actor and his family, "I did a noble thing."

Wilchcombe tells Usmag he was approached early last week by Bridgewater who alerted him that "someone was doing something untowards" and that he passed this information to Travolta's lawyers, Michael Ossi and Michael McDermott.

Wilchombe also reveals the attempted extortion was committed by "one single individual."

Extortion plot to John Travolta Update: conversations recordings, one of the suspect resign as a Senator

The plot to extort millions from John Travolta surrounding his son death (Jett) is now becoming clearer with this developments.... As the conspirators (Obie Wilchcombe, Senator Pleasant Bridgewater and Tarino Lightbourne) are formally charge...

According to TMZ, Bahamian authorities has recordings of conversations in the alleged extortion plot.

"We've learned Bahamian police are using the recordings in the investigation of Obie Wilchcombe, Pleasant Bridgewater and Tarino Lightbourne. As we first reported, the plotters haggled with Travolta's reps -- initially demanding $25 mil and then reducing their demand to the mid-teens. Some of those conversations were recorded."

With this highly publicized scandal, Senator Pleasant Bridgewater, who is one of the suspect has resigned to her position. She is currently was released from custody on $40,000 bail.

3 people was arrested in Extortion Plot against John Travolta

Prominent figures are now being questioned for the alleged extortion to John Travolta following the death of his son Jett in Bahamas.

According to TMZ, former Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe who is a good friend of Travolta family is now arrested and "implicated" on the alleged extortion plot.

"Wilchcombe was arrested by Bahamian police in connection with an alleged $20 million extortion plot against John Travolta."

Also arrested are lawmaker Pleasant Bridgewater and ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourn.

Caused of Death on John Travolta's son Jett: pathologists said, "seizure"

There's are many speculations on the untimely death of John Travolta's 16 years-old son Jett but in the recent development, the caused of death was finally released.

According to TMZ, the pathologists who performed the autopsy concluded Jett Travolta died from a "seizure".

UPDATE: Two experts will autopsy Jeff Travolta's body

Some updates on John Travolta's son Jeff untimely death at Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.

Grand Bahamas health minister Dr. Hubert Minnis confirms that the autopsy will be conducted by two pathologists on Monday to ensure a proper evaluation on the caused of death of John Travolta and Kelly Preston's 16-year-old son.

Travolta's corporate and commercial attorney Michael McDermott that their are preliminary plans to fly the body of 16-year-old Jett Travolta to Ocala by midweek after the autopsy.

John Travolta’s Son Died In The Bahamas

A very sad start in welcoming the 2009 for John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston. Their 16 years-old son Jett Travolta died while on vacation in the Bahamas, Friday Jan. 2, 2009.

Reportedly, the whole family is on a holiday getaway when the incident happened.

Travolta's rep. said in a statement that Jett had suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.

There have been reports that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has denied it, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which often leads to heart disease.

Jeff bumped his head in a bathtub Friday morning and was declared dead at Rand Memorial Hospital.
