"Glee" Lea Michele to Sing at Super Bowl!
Her character as Rachel Berry in Glee always loves to have a solo spotlight, now Lea Michele is getting her chance to do a solo performance at the Super Bowl next weekend!
According to THR, Michele will belt out "America the Beautiful" before the start of Super Bowl XLV on Feb 6, 2011.
Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera will be performing the National Anthem before the Super Bowl game (Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers). Black Eyed Peas will pump up the Bridgestone Halftime Show.

Lea Michele to Hailee Steinfeld: ‘I Never Meant to Hurt Her’
The issue about Lea Michele snubbing 14-year-old True Grit actress Hailee Steinfeld spreads like wild fire. The Glee star is now being plagued with criticism but according to her, she's not to blame and she "never meant to hurt her feeling".
Feeling sorry about the incident and she blames her production assistant for it, Lea Michele said to Gossip Cop:
“I heard Hailee was upset and feel terrible. The ‘Glee’ schedule is so jam-packed that the PA probably pulled me so that I wouldn’t be late to set. I never meant to hurt her feelings. She’s an extraordinary talent and I look forward to meeting her one day.”
Second chance for an autograph, maybe on SAG Awards. Both actress are nominated.

Glee's Ryan Murphy: No Justin Bieber Tribute Episode
The reported Justin Bieber tribute episode for the hit series "Glee" spreads online like wildfire but sadly to say, no working project for a Bieber-dedicated episode on the way!
Glee creator Ryan Murphy tells EW:
“Those [tributes] are reserved for artists with big catalogs,” he explains. “Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam (Chord Overstreet) sings a JB song to win Quinn’s (Dianna Aragon) approval.”
The upcoming episode is titled “Comeback” which will air later this winter.
Glee returns on February 6th with a special episode to air after Super Bowl XLV.
Lea Michele Made True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld Cry
Celebrity teen actress Hailee Steinfeld talks about the impact of her unforgettable embarrassing moment when she was given the cold shoulder by Glee star Lea Michele.
The 14 year-old breakout "True Grit" star told J-14 magazine:
"When I was auditioning for True Grit, I was on the Paramount lot. I was wearing clothes from the 1800s that were big and uncomfortable. Glee also films on the lot and I love the show". I saw Lea Michele just walking to her trailer, and I was like, 'That's the girl from 'Glee.' I've got to go ask for her autograph!' So I walked up to her and asked for her autograph, but she walked by and a guy came and said, 'Sorry, now's not a good time!'"
The snub makes her uncomfortable and disappointed but still her appreciation to Lea remain.
"I had to walk all the way back to the car wearing what I was wearing. I was practically crying on the way home," Steinfeld said. "I was so sad! But she's beautiful, and she has an amazing voice."
Meanwhile, Steinfeld is nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award for Best Supporting Actress.

Lea Michele, Mark Salling and their fellow "Glee" cast performed classic Journey hit “Don’t Stop Believin’” at The X Factor in London, England on Sunday evening (December 5).

Dianna Agron apologized via her blog to the people who felt “hurt” or “uncomfortable” with the controversial pictures.
Now stirring another buzz is the behind-the-scenes video of the shoot.

According to EW’s Michael Ausiello, "Sources confirm to me exclusively that the Fox hit is releasing a Christmas album featuring the cast (and k.d. lang!) singing covers of 12 holiday classic".

Parents Group says GQ's Glee Cover "Borders on Pedophilia"
Parents Television Council issued a statement: “It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way. It borders on pedophilia."
"By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction. And it isn't good for families."
GQ Editor-in-Chief Jim Nelson fired back by saying, “The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy. As often happens in Hollywood, these ‘kids’ are in their 20s. Cory Montieth's almost 30! I think they're old enough to do what they want.”
Describing it as "Borders on Pedophilia" seems too much... but definitely it's very provocative!

“I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get one. And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t. F— those people. That’s why I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.’”
Cory Monteith dropped out of school in the ninth grade:
"The last thing I want to do is kind of imply to readers in high school that you too can drop out and be an actor and get on a big show and be famous and make a s***load of money."

Lea Michele Fell into Acting by Accident
Actress Lea Michele, who started her career as a child and now gaining more popularity with her stint in the hit series "Glee", revealed that she never intended going into acting and it is just an accident.
She says, “It was a joke, I just went to support my friend. But I auditioned and I got it. It was total luck.”
Before entering into acting, Lea wants a different working gig.
“At that point, I wanted to work as a waiter or in a grocery store – I had that fake grocery store with the toy food and money. I was 8 years old – but I auditioned for Broadway and I got it.”“And I went from show to show until I came out to Los Angeles when I was 21.”
It could have been a completely different story if her destiny goes another way.

On partying: “I can honestly sit down in front of you and say I don’t smoke and I don’t do drugs. I never have and that’s who I am. These days I have one glass of wine and I’m completely gone… I much prefer a glass of wine and a bath at home at night to relax.”
On how Glee changed her: “Glee has made me feel beautiful. Now when people say that I don’t feel like they’re lying."
On her secret vice? Tattoos. She has nine, each chronicling a significant milestone in her life: "They’re all tiny. I mean, you saw me in the shoot today, I was practically nude. Did you see any? No. I’m telling you, I have nine. All so, so, so little."

Glee's Lea Michele is willing to go Naked For PETA: "if they asked"
Animal rights group PETA is always asking all of us, Would you rather go naked then wear fur? For "Glee" star Lea Michele, she will do everything even being naked!
During PETA'sd 30th Gala and Humanitarian Awards, Lea shared, "I don't think we need to see a billboard of me naked to know I am anti-fur. But if they asked I would probably do it."

Charice did a duet face-off with Lea Michelle singing "Telephone" and Charice also sung Beyonce's "Listen"as she auditioned for the "New Directions".
Charice plays Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino exchange student who wants to join the Glee Club and a rival for Lea Michelle's controlling diva character "Rachel Berry".
