Ogie Alcasid and Ramiele Malubay in back-to-back concert in December

Ogie Alcasid schedules is fully pack until the end of the year. Aside from producing the upcoming album of the three eliminated Pinoy Idol contestants Robby Navarro, Kid Camaya and Penelope, the balladeer is still busy promoting his 20/20 concert on September 27 at Araneta Coliseum.

Ogie will also do a two-night concert at the Aliw Theater on December 20 and 21 entitled, "Ogie Sings with the Idols". Reportedly, it is a back-to-back concert with Fil-Am Ramiele Malubay of American Idol Season 7. Joining Ramiele is her BFF, the feisty AI Danny Noriega.

First Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina and Robby Navarro are also included in the said concert.

"Lust, Caution" and Vanessa Hudgens are some of the nominees at the 2008 Asian Excellence Awards

The controversial Ang lee's movie "Lust, Caution" got 5 nominations for the 2008 Asian Excellence Awards. "Lust, Caution" is nominated for the Outstanding Film category.

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is nominated for the Outstanding Film Actress.

The Asian Excellence Awards is an annual celebration of the outstanding achievements of Asians and Asian Americans in film, television, music, and the performing arts.

The show will be taped live on April 23 at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Hosted by Carrie Ann Inaba and Bobby Lee, will reach a broad national televised audience with the premiere on E! Entertainment on May 1 at 6 p.m. ET/PT.

American Idol 7 Top 9 Result show: Ramiele Malubay is Out

It is the end of the journey for the "little girl with a big powerful voice" Ramiele Malubay. Many Pinoy fans are very sad for their idol was voted out of the American Idol competition.

Kristy Lee Cook, Brooke White and Ramiele are the bottom vote-getters.

I'm sure the GMA's Pinoy Idol group will invite her to be one of the guest in the future.

Ramiele is the third Filipino-American who has reached the Top 12 of American Idol after Jasmine Trias and Camille Velasco of Season 3.

The remaining eight hopefuls are David Archuleta, Michael Johns, Syesha Mercado, Carly Smithson, Brooke White, David Cook, Jason Castro and Kristy Lee Cook.

Filipino-American Ramiele Malubay from Miami auditioned and won the American Idol's Golden Ticket to Hollywood. She want to follow the footstep of past AI contender and also a Fil-Am, Jasmine Trias.

Ramiele Malubay performed "Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin. Paula and Randy Jackson gave her a "YES" which earned her the ticket to Hollywood.

Paula Abdul described her adorable, a phenomenal and fine singer.

The American Idol 7 top 24 was been leaked and reports that the petite Filipina (Ramiele Malubay stands 4'11") is included in the Top 24.
