Ogie Alcasid & Regine Velasquez getting Married this year!

Singer/actor Ogie Alcasid is proud to announced that he will marry singer/girlfriend Regine Velasquez by the end of the year. The wedding announcement was shared earlier during the airing of the musical-variety show Party Pilipinas.

Ogie said, "Bago matapos ang taong ito, si Regine Velasquez ay pakakasalan ko."

The decision to announced that their finally tying the knot was after Ogie's petition for annulment from his first marriage with ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren was granted last June.
They haven't reveal the wedding date yet but reportedly, part of the entourage are President Noynoy Aquino, actress Sharon Cuneta and businessman Manny Pangilinan.

This is the first marriage for Regine Velasquez while for Ogie, it is his second and he has two kids with Eimeren (currently married to Mark Murrow).

The music video features an all-star cast from the kapamilya and kapuso network: Kris Aquino, Sharon Cuneta, Boy Abunda (who jump from Manny Villar to Noynoy), Ogie Alcasid, Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis, Bea Alonzo, James Yap, Aiai delas Alas, Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca Gonzales and many more..

Helm by Onat Diaz and Regine Velazquez sung the theme song "Hindi ka nag-iisa".

Ogie Alcasid's ex-wife is getting married; Is Ogie-Regine nuptial next in line?

Is this what actor-singer Ogie Alcasid is waiting for so that he can again walk the aisle with girlfriend Regine Velasquez?

Reportedly, Ogie's ex-wife and former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren is getting married again with Mark Murrow this coming November.

On Ogie's 20/20 concert last September 2008, it shows that the former partners are really in good and happy terms. As Michelle and their daughters Leila and Sarah attended the said concert, Michelle's fiance Mark is also present.

Regine is not getting younger, a marriage will seal the deal.

All work for singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid

It's all work..work..work for actor-singer-host Ogie Alcasid as he is very busy with out of town concert, TV shows and movie projects.

The singer-songwriter has upcoming concert on Friday June 13 with young singer Lovi Poe at the Fiesta Casino Cabana Bar in Binangonan, Rizal.

Couple of movie projects for this year, one is for Regal Entertainment entitled "OMG" with award winning actress Judy Ann Santos and the other one is for GMA Films "Spoiled Brat" with Michael V.

Watch Ogie in his everyday TV job with "Hole in the Wall", Variety show "SOP" and gag show "Bubble Gang".

Desperadas 2 - movie trailer (2008 Metro Manila Film Festival entry)

After the last year's success, Regal Entertainment decided to reunite the lovely half-sisters of the film Desperadas with a sequel. It also an entry for the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Desperadas 2 will showcase once again the colorful life of Isabela, Courtney, Stephanie and Patricia with a new added surprise. They will discovered their new and fifth long-lost sister, Ogie Alcasid that will add more fun and bigger treat to everyone who has followed the life story of the Desperadas sisters.

The film brings a deeper and closer peek into the different issues and personal struggles of the five sisters as they cope with life’s endless ups and downs.

Starring Ruffa Gutierrez (Isabella), Rufa Mae Quinto (Patricia), Iza Calzado (Stephanie) and Marian Rivera (Courtney). The sequel is directed by Joel Lamangan and penned by scriptwriter Roy Iglesias.

The Half-Sisters:
Ruffa Gutierrez as Isabella. She is a single mother who had financial problems in the past but doesn't admit it. Now, she is a successful entrepreneur of beauty products. Despite her thriving business, Isabella gets entangled in a big scandal that will change her life instantly.

Rufa Mae Quinto as Patricia. She was already annulled with Dave. Now, an easy-going woman who has a politician-boyfriend, Patricia feels she has no problems at all until a revelation of having a corrupt partner surprises her.

Iza Calzado as Stephanie. Stephanie now has a kid and experiences post-partum blues. In the midst of her marital woes, Stephanie turns to her sisters and seeks their help and advice.

Marian Rivera as Courtney. Courtney is now happily married with his basketball star husband, Patrick. She is an accomplished and chic fashion designer. Her husband left him because he feels that Courtney doesn't give her much time.

Ogie Alcasid as Lugaluda. Originally a male, Ogie plays a female character. She plays Lugaluda, the Kwelali Princess who happens to be the long-lost half-sister of the Isabella, Patricia, Stephanie and Courtney. Despite being physically-absent in the lives of her half-sisters, Luga Luda manages to develop a special bond and friendship with the four Desperadas.

Ogie Alcasid busy doing Desperadas 2 and helping Judy Ann Santos

Ogie Alcasid is busy shooting Desperadas 2 in which he plays a woman character and half-sister of Ruffa Gutierrez, Iza Calzado, Marian Rivera, and Rufa Mae Quinto. This film is an official entry to the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Meanwhile, Ogie confirms that he and girlfriend Regine Velasquez is helping Judy Ann Santos to raise funds needed for campaigning the movie Ploning, Philippine entry for Best foreign language category for Oscar Awards next year.

Iza Calzado and Ogie Alcasid in GMA's Dear Friend

GMA network paired up Iza Calzado and singer Ogie Alcasid in a special Dear Friend episode entitled "Debbie and DJ Carlo" this Sunday October 26.

The story will show if looks really important in a relationship.

DJ Carlo (Ogie) and Debbie (Iza) are neighbors. He secretly yearns for Debbie but she always gives him a cold treatment. After a bad breakup with her boyfriend, Debbie feels lost and disoriented. To cope with her depression, she listens to the radio where DJ Carlo works.

After endless conversations, they fall in love but DJ Carlo fears Debbie’s rejection since he knows Debbie won’t like him physically. He dreads the day when they will meet face to face so he asks his friend, Jim to pretend as DJ Carlo to win Debbie’s heart.

Ogie Alcasid and Ramiele Malubay in back-to-back concert in December

Ogie Alcasid schedules is fully pack until the end of the year. Aside from producing the upcoming album of the three eliminated Pinoy Idol contestants Robby Navarro, Kid Camaya and Penelope, the balladeer is still busy promoting his 20/20 concert on September 27 at Araneta Coliseum.

Ogie will also do a two-night concert at the Aliw Theater on December 20 and 21 entitled, "Ogie Sings with the Idols". Reportedly, it is a back-to-back concert with Fil-Am Ramiele Malubay of American Idol Season 7. Joining Ramiele is her BFF, the feisty AI Danny Noriega.

First Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina and Robby Navarro are also included in the said concert.

Pinoy Idol judge Ogie Alcasid will produce an album for Robbie and Penelope and Kid.

Pinoy Idol judge Ogie Alcasid believes that three eliminated contestants in the Pinoy Idol deserves a spot in the music industry. With their talent, Ogie has decided to produce an album for Robbie Navarro, Kid Camaya and Penelope.

This will be a three-in-one album where each singer will be contributing four songs each. It is a good news for Robbie and Penelope but for Kid, i have some doubt.
