NBA star Ray Allen and Shannon Walker Williams finally married
NBA superstar Ray Allen has finally achieve another achievement. After winning a NBA ring, the Boston Celtic shooting guard finally got another ring by tying the knot with his longtime fiancé Shannon Walker Williams on Saturday night at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
The Boston Celtic married his longtime fiancé Shannon Walker Williams (Girlfight, Century City), at a private home in Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday August 16th. Joining the couple was Singer/Songwriter, Brian McKnight for a special musical performance. Guests included the couples three children Tierra, Ray III and Walker as well as close family and friends. The bride, wearing a Melissa Sweet gown, walked down the aisle to Brian’s hit “Never Felt This Way”, the very song Ray proposed to her with.
A Tribute to the late Audrey Hepburn
Today May 4 is the birth date of an Icon. She is one of the most beautiful woman of all time, an award winning actress in stage and in film, fashion and a humanitarian ambassador. I'm talking about the late Audrey Hepburn.
She won the 1953 Academy Award for Best Actress for Roman Holiday. She was nominated for Best Actress four more times; for Sabrina, The Nun's Story, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Wait Until Dark. She was not nominated for her performance as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, one of her most acclaimed performances.
For her 1967 nomination, the Academy chose her performance in Wait Until Dark over her critically acclaimed performance in Two for the Road. She lost to Katharine Hepburn (in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner).
Audrey Hepburn was one of the few people who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award.
In December 1992, one month before her death, Hepburn received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work in UNICEF. This is one of the two highest awards a civilian can receive in the United States. Check out this site for more info in her life and career.

Restraining order agaist Vanilla Ice
A restraining order was released by the Floria court Judge Nancy Perez for Vanilla Ice (Rob Van Winkle) to stay away from his wife after he allegedly pushed her last night during an argument that causes the filing of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Vanilla can phone her, but that's all, folks. Ice can only have contact with his kids through one of his friends -- at least for now. And, he can go to the house to pick up his stuff, but only once and with a police escort, TMZ reports.

This is his second time that he was arrested for domestic violence. Vanilla Ice is still in custody at Palm Beach County Jail. Palm Beach.
Vanilla first arrest was in 2001 in Florida after allegedly putting his hand over his wife's mouth and pulling some of her hair out.

17th Annual MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by Mike Myers
The funny and zany Mike Myers will host the 2008 MTV Movie Awards from Universal City's Gibson Amphitheatre in California.
This will be his second time to host the said event. In describing his 1997 host experienced in MTV he said, "Hosting the MTV Movie Awards is like a party, but without having to do beer runs in your mom's minivan," Myers said in a statement. "We do beer runs in Will Smith's four-story motor home."
Nominees will be announce next month and awards event will happen on the 1st of June.

Filipino artist Noel Cabangon has written this inspiring song.
Noel Cabangon said, "It’s a song about values, about the core values that we should be able to impart and instill, especially among the youth, among the young people, kaya ginawa namin itong kantang ito."
Cabangon also added, "The call is to live with these values that our forefathers taught us. That way, if we recognize our core values, we will be able to lead forward. Iyong paggalang sa kapwa tao, siguro mas maipapakita natin."

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital confirmed Oscar nominee and classic film "Jaws" star Roy Scheider died at the age of 75.
The hospital did not release a cause of death but the hospital spokesperson said, "Scheider had been treated for multiple myeloma at the hospital's Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy for the past two years."
Richard Dreyfuss, one of his co-actor in killer shark film "Jaws" said, "He was a wonderful guy. He was what I call 'a knockaround actor'".

Evel Knievel Dead at 69
The ailing daredevil Evel Knievel had been in failing health for several years and now dead at 69.
Knievel suffered from diabetes and a lung condition called pulmonary fibrosis. He made news just 2 days ago when he settled a lawsuit with Kanye West.
Knievel had undergone a liver transplant in 1999 after nearly dying of hepatitis C, likely contracted through a blood transfusion after one of his bone-shattering spills.

Bernie Mac New TV Project
Ocean's star Bernie Mac is coming back to TV. He has signed a deal with FOX to star in a new sitcom. This is described as a multi-camera comedy from Bruce Helford – creator of "The Drew Carey Show."The show titled "Starting Under" is about a divorced, opinionated guy who not only finds himself living with his son but also working for him.
Bernie Mac also star in the upcoming movie "Old Dogs" and expected to hit theaters next year.
