GMA-7 network is pumping its primetime with another romantic fantasy series entitled "Dwarfina" starring Heart Evangelista and Dennis Trillo.

"Dwarfina" follows the story of a girl who was born with abnormality. She has been cursed by a black dwarfs, causing her to become no higher than eight inches. Her parents accidentally destroyed a mound inhabited by the supernatural creatures. The lovable Dwarfina grows up with the love and support of her family. Also, loving her despite her limitation is Lyndon (Dennis), childhood friend.

Other cast includes Janice de Belen, Chanda Romero, Cris Villanueva, Mark Bautista, Iwa Moto, Derrick Monasterio, Yogo Singh, Kylie Padilla, Jackielou Blanco, Jestoni Alarcon, Angelica dela Cruz, Emilio Garcia, Pauleen Luna, Tony Mabesa, Will Devaughn, Gerard Pizarras, Bearwin Meily, Vaness del Moral, Mico Aytona and Ms. Lani Mercado.

Jennylyn Mercado "Rosario" - Movie Trailer

Checkout the official trailer for Albert Martinez-directed film "Rosario" starring Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo. This period film is Cinemabuhay and Studio 5's entry to the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival.

The film tells the saga of Rosario, a young and liberated Filipina in the 1920s who has just arrived from New York, and is spending her vacation in their hacienda.

There, she meets and falls in love with Vicente, an older man who manages the tobacco plantation owned by Rosario's family. When Rosario's father finds out about his daughter's scandalous affair, he sends Rosario to a convent.

She escapes, and elopes with Vicente to Manila where they raise a family. But Rosario's life of married bliss slowly crumbles when Vicente becomes ill with tuberculosis, and she is lured to committing adultery. Temptation and scandal still hound Rosario as she continues to defy the moral restrictions of her time.

Based on a true story and set in one of the most colorful periods in Philippine history, ROSARIO is destined to be a modern masterpiece in Philippine filmmaking. It is a monumental yet intimate portraitof a woman's emancipation and the sometimes painful consequencesof following one's desires.

Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo and Roxanne Guinoo in "Tarot"

GMA's primetime queen Marian Rivera is teaming up again with Dennis Trillo in their second horror-thriller movie "Tarot" via Regal Films.

Joining the two GMA-7 artists is ABS-CBN star Roxanne Guinoo which be a part of their love triangle.

Marian will be playing the role of Cara, a woman who has the ability to read Tarot cards. As a child, Cara was able to predict two deaths in her family by reading her grandmother's Tarot cards. She soon realizes that the Tarot cards may have unleashed a curse. And in order to prevent the onslaught of misfortune, Cara must unlock the secret behind the Tarot's deadly powers. She struggles to find a way to save her fiance Miguel (Dennis) by tapping the gift passed on to her by her grandmother (played by Gloria Romero). - Synopsis via PEP

Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo on a Lenten special; recession documentary with Marian and Mike Enriquez

GMA-7's two primetime artist Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo will team up together for a Lenten special presentation that will be shown on Black Saturday, April 11, 2009.

Lenten TV special entitled "Sugat ng Kahapon" is produced by APT Entertainment and the other cast includes Gardo Versoza and Perla Bautista.

Meanwhile, Marian Rivera will be also doing another TV documentary special entitled "Walang Pera (No Money)" in which she will play the role of Juana dela Cruz, schedule to air on March 22.

This is a GMA News and Public Affairs Global Recession Special that tackles the effects of the economic recession to all Filipinos. She will be join by GMA's Mike Enriquez.

Marian Rivera's next movie projects with Dennis Trillo and Vhong Navarro

GMA's primetime queen Marian Rivera is currently busy on her next TV series entitled "Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang" with Dingdong Dantes (their third series as partner).

For her movie projects for 2009 in Regal Entertainment, the young actress will be partnered with two great actor. The first movie it with Dennis Trillo in the horror flick "Tarot".

Anther movie is on the works in which the title is still pending. Her rumored leading man is ABS-CBN's top comedian Vhong Navarro. (I hope nobody blocks it)

Metro Manila TV Ratings (October 17-20 '08) GMA's "Gagambino" debut at no.1

Even though GMA's Dyesebel ended in the top spot in primetime, still it fails to match up the popularity of Marimar (Pinoy adaptation).

Dyesebel's was replaced by another telefantasya series "Gagambino", starring Dennis Trillo. Gagambino started where Dyesebel took off, at the no. 1 spot with 34.5 percent rating.

GMA's Codename: Asero, who is consistent at the no.2 spot was overtake by the fantasy-comedy series "La Lola".

This is based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

Special primer "Gagambino's Web" - Oct. 19

Gagambino, the newest primetime fantasy series of GMA Network from the creation of comics novelist Carlo J. Caparas will debut on Monday October 20, 2008.

Before the airing of its first episode, their will be a 45-minute documentary primer on Sunday October 19 entitled Gagambino's Web. The show will be hosted by Dennis Trillo.

The documentary will features the behind-the-scenes footage, set and costume design, computer effects, training and interviews of the cast members.

Gagambino's Web will air right after GMA's SOP.

Dennis Trillo will spins its web as "Gagambino" on Monday, October 20 replacing the top primetime show "Dyesebel".

The new fantaserye is another Carlo J. Caparas creation that tells a unique friendship between an orphan and his faithful friend--a giant spider. Dennis will use his newfound powers to eradicate crime and promote peace and order in the city.

Joining the cast are Raymart Santiago, Katrina Halili, Polo Ravales, Nadine Samonte, Isabel Oli, Glaiza de Castro, Glydel Mercado and Jean Garcia.

The music and lyrics of this TV series was created by Janno Gibbs and arranged by Tats Faustino.

They tapped the services of Toppel Lee and Don Michael Perez in directing this new fantasy series.

Dennis Trillo had an accident, rushed to the hospital

GMA's Dennis Trillo is under immediate medical attention after encountering an accident while shooting a scene for his upcoming television series “Gagambino.”

According to abs-cbnnews.com, the actor was rushed to Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City thursday, Sept 25.

Reportedly, Dennis suffered trauma to his lower body, particularly his legs. He was reportedly shooting an action scene for the series.
