Baron Geisler can now continue his work after posting bail

Controversial actor Baron Geisler can still smell freedom and continue his work after he revealed that he posted bail and he just waiting for the scheduled hearing which was set later this month.

The award winning actor went under the radar after the Municipal Trial Court (MTC) of Bocaue, Bulacan issued an arrest warrant for Geisler in connection with the cases of acts of lasciviousness and unjust vexation filed by actress Yasmien Kurdi.

He is still has a pending case of sexual harassment filed by the 21-year-old daughter of celebrity couple William Martinez and Ma. Rosario “Yayo" Aguila-Martinez. Just recently, actress Julia Clarete linked his name in another alleged sexual allegations.

Geisler is currently busy with his new project with Piolo Pascual for the fantasy series "Noah."

Expect that his arrogance and disrespect to women will happen again in the future after actress Yasmien Kurdi decided to drop her sexual harassment case to actor Baron Geisler.

Reportedly, Yasmien Kurdi doesn't want this case to be blown out of proportion and for her the important thing is, she went to the PNP Women's Desk Section to filed a blotter report to have extra security.

The actress also said that Baron Geisler has sent his apology via a text message but still she wants a public apology.

Baron's lawyer Bonifacio Alentajan is glad with the development, "We welcome that decision of hers to spare both individuals from unnecessary heartaches and misunderstanding."

It seems actor Baron Geisler will never learn. Once again Baron is in a bad spot after young actress Yasmien Kurdi went to the Philippine National Police (Women's Crisis and Child Protection Center) at Camp Crame and filed acts of lasciviousness and unjust vexation charges against Baron Geisler.

Geisler allegedly harassed his co-star Yasmien during the taping of their GMA television series "Suspetsa". The actress said the harassment occurred and was witness by the production staff. She also disclosed that Geisler had allegedly sent her lewd text messages.

Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) gave interesting details about the complaint. According to PEP source, Baron approached his co-star, Yasmien, and then, without warning: "Minanyak si Yasmien. Sinilipan, hinihipuan, tapos nag-baté"

[Baron done some sexually suggestive and improper behavior, he has touched the body of Yasmien and masturbated in front of Yasmien.]

Actress Jennylyn Mercado, and Yasmien's personal Assistant (PA) reportedly saw the scene. The PA was able to record the incident with a cell phone camera.

Known for his alcohol problem, Baron Geisler is using his drunk excuse again. He is still has a pending case of sexual harassment filed by the 21-year-old daughter of celebrity couple William Martinez and Ma. Rosario “Yayo" Aguila-Martinez.

His acting awards and new projects doesn't help him motivate to stay out of trouble off screen. A jail time will be a solution for repeat offenders. His transfer to GMA is supposed to be a start for building up his image but obviously it failed.

GMA-7's "Audition Celebrity Dance Battle" premiere on May 17 at SOP

GMA-7 is trying a new contest called "Audition Celebrity Dance Battle" which is based on the popular online dance game and set to be launch on Sunday May 17 in GMA's musical variety show S.O.P.

This is part of X-Play Online Games Inc. strategy to put games titles into mainstream.

The participants includes Mark Herras, Chynna Ortaleza, Rainier Castillo, Ryza Cenon, JC Tiuseco, Yasmien Kurdi, Vaness Del Moral and Dominic Roco. The players will performing and competing in pairs.

According to clubaudition website, The dance mode for the segment is Couple Mode. Every week, two pairs will dance to prove their dominance on the dance floor. After the elimination round, two pairs will compete for in the final round. The title Ultimate Celebrity Audista Couple and P100,000 grand prize are at stake so make sure to cast your vote wisely!

Scores will be based on the judges’ vote, 50% and via SMS or text voting, 50%.

Yasmien Kurdi's new PETA ad 2009

Young Filipina actress-singer Yasmien Kurdi once again is featured in a non-sexy ad campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

The 2009 campaign reiterates that being a vegetarian, you will lessen the chances of acquiring diseases and will stop the cruel treatment to animals.

PETA explained the promotional materials: "In the first ad, Kurdi poses inside a cage with a fellow chick—a baby chicken, that is—under the tagline ‘Try to Relate to Who's on Your Plate. Go Vegetarian.' In the second, Yasmien poses on top of a cage under the tagline ‘Respect Chicks. Go Vegetarian.'"

Philippine TV Ratings (April 4 - 6 March 2 '08) Tasya Fantasya and Pinoy Idol enters the top 10 ratings

GMA network new comedy series "Tasya Fantasya" starring Yasmien Kurdi debuts at the no.1 spot in weekend daytime programming. The daytime ratings is still incomplete due to "Invasion: The Philippines vs. The World". The boxing event is not yet finish when AGB released this daytime rankings.

Another GMA show debut in weekend primetime block. Reality-talent show Pinoy Idol, a franchise from American Idol, debut at at No. 3 with 26.3 percent.

This is based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

Yasmien Kurdi's "Tasya Fantasya"

GMA Network presents another upcoming fantasy-comedy series from Carlo J. Caparas comic collection, "Tasya Pantasya". Yasmien Kurdi, Wendell Ramos and Rainier Castillo topbilled this new TV series.

Kris Aquino and Alvin Patrimonio done the film version of it 14 years ago.

"Tasya Fantasya" is a story about sales assistant named Tasya who played by Yasmien Kurdi who work in an optical shop, due to circumstances she found a magical pair of eyeglasses. Through these eyeglasses, she is transported into another world where she faces challenging situations and triumphs. But in all those situations her goal has always been to win the heart of his Prince Charming or Donald whom she admires from afar.

Other cast members are Ella Guevara, Sheena Halili, Gladys Reyes, Alicia Mayer, Mura,
Vangie Labalan and many more...

Mac Alejandre will be the director of this latest project.

Yasmien Kurdi share her 10 wishes

Kapuso Network artist Yasmien Kurdi is busy shooting her new show in primetime TV entitled, "Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita."

And in a recent interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Yasmien talks about her family and she also share her 10 wishes.

Here's the list:

Yasmien Kurdi in PETA Ad

GMA artist Yasmien Kurdi will appear on People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia-Pacific's television commercial to promote vegetarianism.

In her photo shoot, she was shown crouched in a cramped cage next to a tagline "Liberate Your Diet, Go Vegetarian!"

"I'm asking people to liberate their diet and give vegetarianism a try. With so many delicious alternatives now available, it's easier than ever to enjoy great food without causing animal suffering," Kurdi said in a statement released by PETA.
