Clint Eastwood to Direct 'A Star Is Born' Remake starring Beyonce

Actor/Director Clint Eastwood is reportedly in negotiations to direct the upcoming remake of "A Star is Born" which will feature Beyonce.

Deadline reports that no male lead has been cast yet in the project but their eying Will Smith.

Beyonce's acting credits includes Dreamgirls, Obsessed and Cadillac Records.

Will Smith working on Crime Drama & 'Hitch' Series

Will Smith will be working on two interesting TV shows in which one it will be a crime drama set in China and the second is a TV adaptation based from his 2005 comedy film.

According to Variety, Smith is partnering with Chinese-born filmmaker Eva Jin to develop a drama about a crime-fighting female college student in China.

Another TV project is a hour-long show based for his 2005 comedy movie Hitch.

Nicole Scherzinger & Betty White in "Men in Black 3"

Will Smith will be engaging with two interesting ladies when he dressed up in black suits in his upcoming movie.

Pussycats Doll's Nicole Scherzinger has confirmed that she and Betty White will be making an appearance in the upcoming blockbuster "Men in Black 3".

Scherzinger tells E! about her role, "My name is Lilly. She's like a small villain role. I'm so excited because I get to die. I make an appearance. I say a couple of lines and then I die."

The two ladies will join Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Alec Baldwin and under the direction of Barry Sonnenfeld.

Will Smith to star in Biblical Cain with vampire twist

Are you thirst for more vampire flicks? Will Smith will deliver a Biblical character role with a blood sucking twist.

Will Smith is set to star as Cain in "The Legend Of Cain", biblical re-telling of sibling rivalry tale of Cain and Abel with a vampire twist.

Smith will produce with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and Overbrook Entertainment partners James Lassiter and Ken Stovitz. Penning the script are Caleeb Pinkett, Dan Knauf and Andrea Berloff.

It will be very interesting and intriguing on how they will infuse vampire angle in the two brothers.

Will Smith voted no.1 in Quigley's "Top Ten MoneyMakers" for 2008

Will Smith topped the annual Quigley's "Top Ten MoneyMakers Poll" for 2008. It is a poll for US cinema owners and film buyers who voted stars who generated the most box office revenue.

Aside topping the 2008 list, Smith is only the second African-American actor to win the Quigley poll in its 76 year history. Sidney Poitier was placed first in 1968 after the success of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and "In the Heat of the Night."

Will Smith's "Hancock" and "Seven Pounds" raked in whooping figures last year. Meanwhile 2007's winner Johnny Depp failed to reach the top 10 list.

Hancock invasion in Japan

Will Smith's movie and China's Ban to American Films

Will Smith's thriller, "I Am Legend," is now feeling the film politics between United States and powerhouse China.

China's banned to American films according to reports will last until May 2008. The ban on American movies is to boost the China's domestic film industry during holiday season.

But there a true reasons for the drastic action and appear to be a mixture of major politics and industry issues.

Smith had met with China Film Group's chairman, Han Sanping, and is working with him to secure a release date for "I Am Legend."
