Leonardo DiCaprio to play informant in "Legacy of Secrecy"

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in a film about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy entitled "Legacy of Secrecy", based on the book of the same name by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartman.

According to Variety,  DiCaprio will also produce the film and he's expected to play the role of FBI informant Jack Van Laningham. It asserts that Mafia godfather Carlos Marcello confessed to Van Laningham to having ordered JFK's assassination.

Targeting a possible 2013 release.

Leo DiCaprio set to Play Dr. HH Holmes (Serial Killer)

Leonardo DiCaprio will enter to the world of serial killing!

DiCaprio will be playing the sadistic role of Dr. HH Holmes, a cunning serial killer in Chicago during the 1890s, Deadline reports.

Holmes constructed The World's Fair Hotel, a "murder castle" where he murder his victims and strip their skeletons to sell for medical and scientific study. Holmes believed to have murdered anywhere from 27 to 200 people.

Leonardo DiCaprio Gets A Restraining Order Against a "delusional" woman

Leonardo DiCaprio has been granted a temporary restraining against a "delusional" woman who claims to be his wife plus she carrying Leonardo's baby which she named Jesus.

The crazy stalker is Livia Bistriceanu and she was described as very obsessive and has "harassing behavior".

DiCaprio felt that his "personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me, is in jeopardy."

Bistriceanu has sent him numerous handwritten letters like "Do you want to be with me for real and to be the father of Jesus? I've explained you I can't be with nobody virtually. I have to have a father in reality for Jesus not like this."

Bistriceanu has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards.

The restraining order was granted the same week that another woman was ordered to stand trial in Los Angeles on charges of striking DiCaprio with a wine glass at a private Hollywood party in 2005, and injuring his face and neck.

The suspect Aretha Wilson is facing seven years in prison if convicted at trial.

Leonardo DiCaprio uncertain in getting married

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is having doubt if marriage is right for him after seeing too many failed marriages. It seems even model Bar Rafaeli cannot get Leonardo to commit!

The Inception star said, “I don’t know whether I’ll ever get married. I’ve seen too many supposedly happy marriages go down. I’ve been as shocked as anyone. No one can look at the marriages of other people and make a judgement. I don’t know the private lives of the actors I work with. I just know if they are good actors or good directors.”

It seems Leonardo prefer of having a family than entering the legal aspect of marriage which sometimes resulted to different consequences.

Box Office: "Inception" still at no.1, "Dinner for Schmucks" at 2nd

Christopher Nolan’s "Inception" is holding a very tight grip at the top spot of the weekend box office, raking in another $27.5 million. The movie is now on its third consecutive week at the no.1 spot.

The Steve Carell-Paul Rudd comedy "Dinner for Schmucks" is in second with $23.3 million while Angelina Jolie’s espionage thriller "Salt" went third with $19.3 million.

Leonardo DiCaprio: voice of Jack Frost in "The Guardians"

Leonardo DiCaprio will be lending voice for the first time in an animated movie "The Guardians", he will be playing the Jack Frost character.

"The Guardians" reimagines five popular childhood heroes -- Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman and Jack Frost -- as members of an elite superhero squad who join forces to fight an evil spirit named Pitch. - Variety

If they cast an A-list star like DiCaprio, big names will be surely be filled in other characters.

Their targeting Nov. 2, 2012 release.

Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio in New "Gucci" Film?

Another interesting movie for Angelina Jolie is being set. Director Ridley Scott is in negotiations with Jolie for murder-drama story of the "Gucci" family.

According to Variety, Jolie will play the murder plotter Patrizia Gucci, who was sentenced to 29 years in jail for plotting the murder of her ex, Maurizio Gucci.

To make casting more interesting EW reports that their eying Leonardo DiCaprio to play the role of the slain Maurizio Gucci.

A tragic story of power struggle to run the Gucci's family business. Maurizio was gunned down in front of his Milan apartment in 1995.

20th Century Fox is eying a 2010 start for the film.

Christopher Nolan's "Inception" - teaser trailer

According justjared.com, FOX News article was completely fabricated, including the quotes - “I look at young Zac Efron and think ‘Go get it pal, leave me in peace.’ I was never happy with the teen idol tag at all –-never wanted to be a sex symbol or all that stuff –-it was the work that appealed to me. Really nothing else.”

Leonardo DiCaprio - "Body of Lies" premiere

Leonardo DiCaprio attends the premiere of his latest movie "Body of Lies" at the Frederick P. Rose Theater in New York City.

With co-star Russell Crowe, the two looks good in their usual black suit. DiCaprio partnered his suit with a nice silver striped tie.


“Body of Lies” is based on a David Ignatius' novel about a CIA operative who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan.

The film is directed by Ridley Scott, hit theaters this Friday October 10.

Leonardo DiCaprio promotes “Green Credit Card”

Leonardo DiCaprio continued to promote environmental awareness with his visit to Hong Kong.

His foundation and local bank HSBC has combined together for a joint venture to launch the use of HSBC's new “Green Credit Card”.

The "green credit card" is made of environment-friendly materials and uses digital bills to cut down paper consumption. Also, every transaction will contribute to a local environmental protection project.

DiCaprio said, “This pioneering initiative will enable people of Hong Kong to make their own green mark each and every day.”

Meanwhile, DiCaprio also attended the premier of his film, The 11th Hour in Hong Kong. The documentary aims to address the need to protect our environment.
