Sean "Diddy" Combs blast Republican presidential candidate John McCain on choosing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his Vice President. Diddy described John McCain's decision as irresponsible.

"Dark Knight" reached $500 million mark, second all time

Warner Bros "Dark Knight" becomes only the second film to cross the $500 million mark. Two weeks ago, it surpassed "Star Wars" as the second highest grossing movie ever, "Titanic" remains No. 1 on the domestic charts with $600.8 million.

Adding another $8,750,000, it raked a total of $502.4 million under it's belt. The amounts according to box-office tracker Media is nearly one-eighth of Hollywood's overall summer revenue of $4.2 billion, which edges the previous summer record of $4.18 billion set last year.

Ogie Alcasid and Ramiele Malubay in back-to-back concert in December

Ogie Alcasid schedules is fully pack until the end of the year. Aside from producing the upcoming album of the three eliminated Pinoy Idol contestants Robby Navarro, Kid Camaya and Penelope, the balladeer is still busy promoting his 20/20 concert on September 27 at Araneta Coliseum.

Ogie will also do a two-night concert at the Aliw Theater on December 20 and 21 entitled, "Ogie Sings with the Idols". Reportedly, it is a back-to-back concert with Fil-Am Ramiele Malubay of American Idol Season 7. Joining Ramiele is her BFF, the feisty AI Danny Noriega.

First Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina and Robby Navarro are also included in the said concert.

Taylor Swift - "Fearless" artwork album cover

Taylor Swift officially unveiled the artwork of her latest cover of her new album, "Fearless". It is scheduled to release on November 11 by Big Machine Records.

The new album contains 11 tracks, all written or co-written by Taylor herself.

Three pre-order options are priced from $13.88 to $75. At the top level, the CD will come in a limited edition collector’s box which also includes a leather bracelet, T-shirt, photo book, a “Taylor Nation” decal and a poster. One fan who purchases the $75 package will win what’s described as the “Ultimate Taylor Swift Fan Experience,” a prize that includes airfare and hotel for two to attend a concert, a meet-and-greet at the show, a tour of Swift’s bus and an autographed guitar.

Ely Buendia is now at Philippine Heart Center

The highly anticipated reunion comeback of Pinoy band icon Eraserheads at the Bonifacio Global City open field yesterday Aug. 30 push through but the unexpected happened and the concert was cut short. Lead vocalist Ely Buendia suffered chest pain and reportedly collapsed after the first set.

He was rushed to the Makati Medical Center and the Buendia's family has declined to comment on his condition. They also requested the media to refrain from interviews and shooting video of the singer.

UPDATE: After he was treated at Makati Med., he was transferred at the Philippine Heart Center around 1:00 a.m. Sunday.

Reportedly, Buendia suffered chest pains due to the stress brought about by his mother's recent death and exhaustion due to the rehearsals for the Eraserheads reunion concert.

Buendia's mother died of cardiac arrest early morning of August 28. She had been recovering from surgery done just days before to treat her intestinal cancer.

In 2007, Buendia suffered a heart attack while his new band Pupil was performing in Laguna. He underwent two angioplasty procedures at the Philippine Heart Center after doctors found at least two blockages in his arteries.
