KC Concepcion's Star Circle Quest for the Next Kiddie Superstars

ABS-CBN is once again looking for the the next kiddie star that will shows his/her entertaining charm and talent skills in Star Circle Quest!

In 2004 and 2006, ABS-CBN launched a nationwide talent search that opened the doors for multi-talented kids like Nash Aguas, Sharlene San Pedro, Quintin Alianza and Mika dela Cruz to become the industry's brightest kid superstars; that is, Star Circle Kid Quest. The quest went on in 2009 and consequently found new talented young gems, namely, Bugoy Carino and Xyriel Manabat.

This year, the magic goes on with Star Circle Quest for the Next Kiddie Superstars. Hosted by KC Concepcion, the program aims to discover fresh, young faces with amazing talent and charming personalities and consequently, develop them to become award-winning stars and good role models for kids. Moreover, Bugoy and Xyriel, two notable alumni of SCQ Kids, will join KC as co-hosts; they will be assisting the new SCQ Kid Questors throughout the journey towards superstardom.

But unlike the previous editions, the program is in search not for one but two Kiddie Superstars--a boy and a girl. For 12 weeks, the aspiring kiddie superstars will undergo a rigorous selection process to be facilitated by the quest's credible jurors Direk Rowell Santiago, Vina Morales, and Gladys Reyes. They will be exposed to different talent and personality development workshops that would unleash their potential.

KC Concepcion teaming up with Jericho Rosales for movie project

Another great actor will be teaming up with mega daughter KC Concepcion next year. Reportedly, Jericho Rosales will do a movie with KC under Star Cinema and to be directed by Maryo J. delos Reyes. No details about the title and synopsis yet but the production starts in January 2010.

KC last project is the TV remake of the koreanovela hit “Lovers in Paris” with Piolo Pascual.

ABS-CBN actor Piolo Pascual admits that he is courting actress KC Concepcion but the timing are being doubted by many due to their upcoming television series “Lovers in Paris (remake).”

Don't get me wrong, I respect Piolo Pascual and KC as an artist but using this old trick in the book of publicity is a big No No!

But if indeed he is courting KC, it will be a good chemistry on and off screen.

Is the infamous Dr. Hayden Kho will now face a new enemy? Reportedly, Sharon's eldest daughter KC Concepcion who is definitely one of the rising star in the Philippines is allegedly one of the victims of Hayden Kho’s hidden camera.

According to Starmometer, Hayden had been able to video-tape her secretly using his mobile phone camera while dressing up in an undisclosed location, at Belo Clinic perhaps?

The video is said to be spreading in mobile phones but it’s not yet confirmed though if the woman dressing up on the video was indeed the mega-daughter herself.

Many are now asking, Is this rumored report against KC Concepcion true or not? Or it just a demolition job because KC's stepfather Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan recently announced that he will run for the Vice President position in the 2010 election.

The Cuneta-Pangilinan are two of the top influential clan in the Philippines. I hope that Hayden doesn't mess up with this family because he will be a dead man walking!

Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion's "When I Met You" earned P25 million on Valentine day

It seems many loving couples celebrated their Valentine day by hitting the theaters as the second team up movie of Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion's "When I Met You" earned a Valentine gross of P25 million.

The question is, can it surpass their first movie "For the first time" gross revenue of P134 million? Reportedly, "When I Met You" estimate total ticket sales is Php 82.7 million and now its entering the second week.

After the success of their first movie team-up in "For the First Time" from Star Cinema, Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion will continue giving you some spark with their upcoming romantic comedy entitled "When I Met U", a GMA Films and Regal Entertainment's Valentine presentation.

Jenny is an unpretentious mall promodizer searching for true love. A hopeless romantic, her quest leads her to Benjie, a cargo pilot who offers her the love she truly yearns. An unlikely romance begins when she hitches a ride with Benjie to attend a wedding in Palawan . On board, they openly show their dislike for each other but when the aircraft crashes in an unknown island, the two turn to each other for comfort and eventually absolve their differences.

Will there be a lasting relationship between these two star-crossed lovers? Knowing that love is not about what is right but what is real, will Benjie and Jenny survive the odds of their relationship?

KC Concepcion is Piolo Pascual's next leading lady, "Lovers in Paris" Phil. remake

After teaming up with Angel Locsin this year, Piolo Pascual will soar high with another promising leading lady for 2009. This time the lovely young actress KC Concepcion will headline ABS-CBN's primetime.

Piolo Pascual will do a movie with KC and reportedly on January they will start shooting the Philippine version of the hit Koreanovela “Lovers in Paris".

Lovers in Paris is a successful Korean drama series broadcast by SBS who become also a ABS-CBN hit in the Philippines. Originally done by Park Shin-yang (Money War) and Kim Jung-eun (Princess Lulu).

Piolo said, "Hopefully a movie before ipalabas iyong soap, but of course sa January ipapalabas muna ang movie namin ni Angel (Locsin) and come February or March naman ay ipapalabas iyong independent movie ko na ‘Manila’”.

Jericho Rosales and KC Concepcion busy preparing for "Katy! the Musical Concert"

Two of ABS-CBN's top artist Jericho Rosales and KC Concepcion are now busy preparing and rehearsing their musical project entitled "Katy! the Musical Concert".

The said project will be shown right after the awarding ceremony of the 34th Metro Manila Film Fest at the Harbor Garden Tent, Sofitel Philippine Plaza on December 27.

The title of the play Katy! refers to Katy de la Cruz, a singer who specialized in jazz vocals and torch songs during her career spanning eight decades.

Produced by Celeste Legaspi, Katy! starred Mitch Valdes in the title role, and its music was composed by Ryan Cayabyab with lyrics by Jose Javier Reyes.

KC Concepcion's aka Cassandra turns gold

After the good outcome of her movie "For the First Time", KC Concepcion is slowly following the success of her actress-singer-mother Sharon Cuneta in the music scene.

Few months of after its release, her debut album in Sony BMG aka Cassandra has turned Gold selling more than 12,500 copies.

KC Concepcion is MYX's celebrity VJ of the month.

Continuously promoting her debut album "a.K.a Cassandra", KC Concepcion was chosen to be the celebrity VJ on MYX for this month of June. MYX is the number one music channel in Philippines.

The mega daughter is also featured in myxclusive interview in the June-July 2008 issue of MYX Magazine.

Her album "a.K.a Cassandra" is under Sony BMG Music Entertainment with 12 tracks.

KC Concepcion led the walk against global hunger

ABS-CBN's princess KC Concepcion continues her humanitarian work as she led the walk against global hunger at the open field of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig today at six in the morning (June 1).

"End Hunger: Walk the World" is a global advocacy and fundraising event by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) together with its largest corporate partners.

This will raise public awareness and funds to feed 59 million poor children.

KC Concepcion signed a movie contact with GMA Films

ABS-CBN's princess KC Concepcion has signed a movie contract with GMA Network's movie outfit GMA Films. I will say another achievement by two rival networks.

After GMA artist Richard Gutierrez signed a one deal movie contact with ABS-CBN's Star Cinema to team up with KC. Now, ABC-CBN lend their artist KC Concepcion to GMA Films for another movie.

KC and Richard will do a romantic film with GMA Films and reportedly they will start shooting this September.

Meanwhile, Star Cinema will start shooting their new film project with KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez next week and the expected playdate is August 27th.

GMA's Richard Gutierrez signed a movie contract with Star Cinema and will team up with KC Concepcion

Rumors and speculations is over. GMA Network artist Richard Gutierrez and ABS-CBN's KC Concepcion team up in a movie is officially ON. With this breakthrough the two artist build bridges to the two rival networks.

Richard Gutierrez signed a one picture contract with ABS-CBN's movie outfit Star Cinema.

Reports that Star Cinema and GMA Films will not co-produce this movie, it will be solely Star Cinema Exclusive.

At this moment there is no announcement yet from GMA Network.

Witness on the contract signing were Star Cinema head Malou Santos, ABS-CBN Corporate Communication head Bong Osorio, Richard's mother Anabelle Rama and other network executives.

KC Concepcion signed a three-movie contract with Star Cinema

Filipina actress KC Concepcion is one of the most in-demand young artist and endorser in the Philippines today. After her acting debut on the ABS-CBN drama anthology "Maalala Mo Kaya" and her long-month television series "I AM KC", the new princess of ABS-CBN signed a three-movie contract with the Kapamilya Network's movie outfit Star Cinema.

KC's first movie project will be directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal and there is rumor that GMA network star Richard Gutierrez will be her first leading man in this forthcoming movie.

The contract signing was witness by ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio, Star Cinema Managing Director Malou N. Santos and Concepcion's managers Sandra Chavez and Shirley Kuan.

ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio said, "This is a dream come true for Star Cinema and ABS-CBN".

KC Concepcion for BAYO summer campaign

Many heads are turning as they saw the sexy jaw dropping billboard ad of KC Concepcion along Edsa for BAYO clothing line.

Reportedly, she undergo on a tough diet (South Beach) and regular exercises to make her body perfect for this photo shoot.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN is on the right track exploring the talent of KC Concepcion. Her upcoming month-long special entitled "I Am KC" is perfect for her. It will sharpen her talent more.

A Tickle in KC Concepcion's Heart

If the team up movie will push through between Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion it will be a great achievement. Maybe the rift between GMA Network and ABS-CBN will be lessen.

In a Startalk segment yesterday entitle “A Tickle in KC’s Heart”, KC shared and talked about being a Ambassador for UN, her mega mom Sharon Cuneta, her dad Gaby and also she show her excitement in a possible team up wih GMA artist Richard Gutierrez.

KC said, "One thing I can say, hindi ako sang-ayon sa network war." And she also added, "It would be great in the sense na may bigger purpose than just a loveteam. May higher purpose. If this will end the network war, I would gladly do it. Wala namang nangyayari, puro sa diyaryo lang ‘yan. Sana mangyari sa totoong buhay para masimulan na."

KC Concepcion was named National Ambassador Against Hunger of World Food Program for United Nations.

The mega daughter KC Concepcion is becoming a Angelina Jolie in the making...

The young actress has the beauty, the brain, the style and she also conducts humanitarian advocacy.

KC Concepcion was chosen as the new National Ambassador Against Hunger of World Food Program (WFP) for United Nations. She went on a three-month screening process and got approved by three offices—Rome, Vatican, and Thailand. She's only the third to be chosen from Southeast Asia.

Her first task as the ambassadress she went to South Cotabato yesterday (February 18) and she distribute foods to poor families. She also went to schools for their onsite feeding and distribution of warm formulated meals.

"I am so happy to be connected with the right channels talaga. It's quite a feat to feed hungry children everyday and help resolve conflict and keep them in school,"

"That's part of my job," KC added. "That is to help WFP work to put the issue of hunger at the center as a child dies of hunger somewhere around the world. Kawawa naman. The focus here is food for school to make kids stay in school. It also lessens child labor.
